Ending story
I feel that it is a good drama plot but only until episode 13. Episode 14 - 16 was boring because i feel the story is messy, especially the part where Jae yi died that was mean. Why ??? She should not hit by a car, she should still be alive. As for the ending, where the truth is revealed choi tae guk killed himself which I think it make sense as there is some real bad guy in real life that will kill themselves but it is just sad after all the mistakes he did . Also, all team that did mistake with choi tae guk should have been step down from their position and more. It feels like the ending just end without showing the bad guys punishments that they deserved. Example, jail, step down, pay fineWas this review helpful to you?
Underrated masterpiece !!!
I just finished this and let me tell you, what a masterpiece !! Seo hyun jin is my far one of the best actresses out there !! From start to finish this drama has kept me on the edge of my seat , it wasnt predictable , kept me very intrigued all the time . lets talk about that first episode, what a range of emotions i just love how our fl is such a grey charachter cold and ruthless yes but in a matter of fact way, she isnt unnecessarily mean but not kind either , she will do anything to reach her goals . later on we came to discover why she had to become a tough cookie and her tragic past . once again s koreas very corrupted system is showcased and how utterly sexist it is still. Some moments are simply infuriating however it isnt a depressing hopeless drama since our fl is basically a genius badass woman that knows who she is dealing with and has all the dirt on the big bosses to keep herself safe . i have read a lot of criticism about gong chan , he is not a bad actor , in fact i did enjoy his appearences in the earlier episodes however at the later, heavier episodes he just wasnt able to sustain the good performance especially compared to a huge veteran like seo jin hence why he felt quite underwheling at the end same with the romance which opposite to most people here i think they had good chemistry and their relationship was adorable which why it worked in the beginning for me but the tone of the later episodes just didnt need heavy romance in it . i have to mention the villains as well what a great acting performance by vereran actor heo joon ho , he perfected the piece of poop actor role , such a charismatic character i have to admit that his eye wrinkles distracted me a bit but his acting made me forget about this. Overall i give this drama an 8.9 i put it on hold for so long afraid that it would not meet my expectations but it surpassed it. Glad i finally did come around to watch this masterpiece !!Was this review helpful to you?

One of the best drama I've seen so far
After watching the lats two ep, just one thing to say, THIS is one of my favorite drama I’ve seen so far. Maybe more scenes between Sujae and Chan would have been even better, but this drama has nothing to envy to other romance. The chemistry between them two was so so good. The acting was great too. 💕💕
Spoiler : I really think that Choi Taekook’s suicide was the best way to have an end for his character. Juhan has now to live alone without his dad to whom he practically gave his life by letting him control everything, and his daughter. I was septic in front of the character of Yoonsang, not fixed enough on his position near his father and Sujae. He did at least a good deed with the files.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED! Lowkey underrated?
Honestly, this drama sort of took me by surprise - I originally wanted to watch it because of the main cast and I love the male lead but man... I actually really did not care for the romance AT ALL.Also, they did a GREAT job of keeping you on your toes until the LAST episode - I feel like other dramas by like 14/15 they slow down and show all the happy ever afters...
Instead, I was so focused on the rivalry between the main character and the antagonist!! (MAJOR props to his acting - the father specifically, absolutely astounding and portrayed his character with such amazing display of pride, power, and intelligence)!!
I knew it would be a revenge story but MAN just some of the plot twists really had my JAW dropped and angry, sad yet hopeful and another ride of emotions - except this was to an extreme. Some things, I don't know if others saw it coming but I was just like??? how people were related and at times I really thought "good" characters were BAD but ended up being "good" LOL
I also LOVE a story that just has a strong female protagonist - it's not as often as male ones and just loved the drive and pressure felt throughout!!
Also overall, I think the cast were perfect! Each and everyone played such good roles suited to their aesthetic, character, and attributes. You could really see the professionalism, patience, and corruptness of each and everyone - I can't stop raving about the casting.
It's been a while since I've been addicted to a drama and the cliff hangers left me wanting more. Would recommend, especially if you love a GOOD revenge and an EARNED one!

Romance is not the focus of this drama though it's there. It's more about Revenge!!
I really enjoyed this drama. I just wish more was expounded in the final episode. I absolutely love Gong Chan & Soo's character & interactions. The side characters did a great job. I truly recommend this drama. The plot was good. But I was looking for justice. I feel some characters should have been punished severely for the crimes committed, but they just got a slap on the wrisk. The crimes were serious. So that part was hard to swallow. As for the romance they could have done a better job of it, but it was cute. I love me some Gong Chan. the way cry is so very cute. some people said the Ml & Fl had no chemistry. I beg to differWas this review helpful to you?
Gripping with a rushed yet satisfactory ending
Another law mystery drama in this year's plate, Why Her started strong, thanks to an amazing performance by See Hyun Jin. The premise is simple, a goal of reaching to the top, due to unfair past behaviour by everyone. In a world full of injustice, there seems to be no hope of going up against big corporations that can easily influence various institutions in society.
Although fictional, characters like Chairman Han, Assemblyman Lee, and Chairman Choi represent a portion of the powerful in today’s society, who abuse the law for their personal gain.
But in the end, there is an end to their abuse of power that disgraces the justice system. The collapse of their empires is also caused by their own misdeeds, which have always been at risk to be exposed.
The pacing was well maintained, although it suddenly rushed in when the 14th episode aired, with multiple layers coming and ending within moments, without giving a proper enclosure. The finale was cliche and had nothing extraordinary, but what made me feel good about the finale is that justice prevails in the end, no matter what.
My Rating : 8/10

It's about women's dignity, family, friendship & love!
I LOVE this drama and definitely rewatch it! I love all the casts, especially main leads and their acting.I love how bitter sweet the story had, and those mixed feeling that we got like confuse, excited, anger, sad, happy, heartbroken.. you can get it all from this drama.
The ending is a bit rush, but overall the story successfully make me curious.. and the more episode we watch, the more surprising events happened. The truth is unfolded bit by bit.
I love all of the drama ost, the camera angles, and the scenery in many scenes too.
For those who are expecting steamy romance, of course this drama is not the choice, because this drama's genre is basically about law, mystery and thriller. Romance is not the main genre but you can feel heartwarming scenes from slight romance between younger guy and older women, between student and lecturer, between a defendant and lawyer.
It's not just about admiration toward someone, but also an unconditional love and its fate. I strongly recommend this drama!
This drama also teach us so many meaningful lesson about family, friendship and career.
It will be hard to move on from this drama.. I really wish they can make season 2 with the same cast :)

Leads are guilty of having an unexciting basis of romance, your honor
A revenge-vengeance drama that revolves around the law and legal processes. Subjectively, it may end up having a weak overall impact among other law-based dramas, still, it is clear that they successfully wrap the whole concept in sixteen episodes with a satisfying ending. The star of the show is a well-known lawyer who was portrayed by Seo Hyun Jin, a real gem in the industry. Once again, she gives birth to another memorable character with her intense acting skills and consistently holding a firm grip as Oh Soo Jae. Frankly, the show started in a frail manner but managed to survive during its last few episodes. These episodes lifted the excitement and tension between the protagonist's side and the antagonist team. However, let me direct your attention to the disappointing chemistry between the leads. Firstly, I am beyond proud to witness Hwang In Youp’s growth with his first lead role in Korean Drama. Regardless of how much of a fan I am, I can’t help but disenchant his character as Gong Chan. It is not as remarkable the way I anticipated it to be. I plead to disappointment that the number one downfall of the show is the romance itself. It broke the blistering atmosphere that the plots had given from time to time. They have poor chemistry in which one looks too mature and the other seems childish in the way he keeps on pestering the other one with his direct and pushy personality. It was uncomfortable to watch a student who crosses the line to pursue his professor. Despite this, there’s a single moment wherein I curled a smile after hearing this line, “My heart is worth 70 million dollars.” It was drunkenly spoken with innocence and cuteness.
I also want to praise the villainous characterization of Heo Joon Ho. This man suited this kind of challenging role but it’s somehow funny that he always had an intelligent son who would betray him later on for the story to progress. I’m speaking with his on-screen children, Yoon Na Moo from Come and Hug Me, and Choi Yoon Sang from this drama. Speaking of which, I grasp my forehead for the second’s lead dissatisfactory ending with almost no closure at all. He immediately vanished after lending help to expose the devil's deeds that his father and brother committed. He contributes almost nothing to the story, but Nam Choon Poong already holds this title. The way they ended up the story may be up for a second season, if and only if the producers and staff behind this decision to have another one.
Nevertheless, I, therefore, conclude that Why Her established a fine trademark in K-Drama for offering Oh Soo Jae, T-K Law Firm, and some of the things that left memories to the audience. It was still a good series because it made me feel irritated and upbeat for its twists, the same way that other legal-based dramas gave me.

On Edge and Emotional
Wow. Soooo. I'm going to be 100% honest, I went into this solely for Hwang Inyeop. I knew absolutely nothing about the storyline or the other cast members and boy was I not ready. This was such a full drama. It's got a strong female lead who has done everything in her power to rise to the top. Her story is absolutely devastating, what she goes through, what happens to her, her struggles are so shocking, she was a very powerful character. Our Male lead was also an astonishing character, I was not expecting his past to be what it was or for him to be what he was these ten years later. The two main character fates are constantly intertwined. This was such an emotional show. It's full of betrayal at every corner, and you are constantly on the edge of your seat waiting to see what's going to happen next. I was screaming at the tv and full of tears. I'll definitely be coming back for a rewatch. Was this review helpful to you?
writer need to do their job better
FL supposed to be badass, very calculating and intelligent, she's THE lawyer of the firm, she's the youngest managing partner to be elected. She doesn't even have proper education, yet she's able to climb to the top in just a few years. She survived among the wolves for years.. I mean years.. and even able stood on top of them, beat them in their game. But what the heck was this?! Her IQ & EQ suddenly plummeted after meeting the ML. She's been doing very stupid things for a woman that smart. For a woman, who have years of experience dealing with criminals, that is so smart and cunning, even her very powerful boss fear her, be so easily fall into a trap, clumsily got her self into trouble, was stupid enough to go alone to meet a thug/suspect murderer in a remote area in the middle of the night. She suddenly became a regular damsel in distress, that needs her knight to save her, like what?!!! I understand that it was necessary for the romance plot, but please writer-nim, do your job better, at least be consistent with the character you're trying to potray, she doesn't need to suddenly be stupid just to have "romance". The writer is the problem in this one. The actress on the other hand, is amazing, her acting is top notch. I hope the next half of the drama gets better, finger crossed. Was this review helpful to you?
Romance doesn't fit this revenge story at all
I'm at the half of the drama ,, watched eight episodes only and I'm dropping it now because it frustrated me so muchThe start was epic and the Revenge story is very good well played with all it's twists and melodrama but the romance is immature and so cringy
it's not that she's older than him ,, it's how his character was written ,, he's too soft for her personality ,, too naive and she's entangled in a very dangerous web of revenge plans ,, she made preparations for years to get back at the people who hurt her but she's suddenly falling in love while being haunted on her revenge war and it's literally war for her ,, yes she's a woman she needs someone by her side to make her feel like a woman again and to be loved ,, she deserves that but not that student kid who is too naive ,, doesn't know anything about her past life and forced himself into her serious affairs ,,,, talking to her softly ,, taking care of her after she witnesses violence , suicide , explosions and imprisonment ? she needs proper smart man at the same level of her intelligence and same level of seriousness of those people ,,may be a lawyer partner , or her enemy's son but older version of him not another student ,, I don't feel the male lead is compatible with her with the personality the writer wrote him to be
either she Quit her revenge schemes to live and love so she can keep her love safe or she continue her plans but not to get punch of students in her mess with a very dangerous man who kills people that easily
Okey I ranted a lot about my frustrations from the drama
anyhow it's not bad drama but it's not all good either
