The film explores problems of the Hong Kong education system with a comical approach. The story revolves around the lives of a few zombies and satirises Hong Kong's spoon-fed, rigid education system, showing how it takes away the vigour of the city's students. The story is set in a zombie academy “St. Zombia”: the whole school consists of only three zombie students and a pretty half-zombie, half-human hybrid who is the principal, the teacher and the tutor of the academy.
