The Glory (2022)

Although Weak Hero Class is set in high school unlike The Glory, where the FL is an elementary school teacher. The Glory has intense flashbacks of the FL being bullied by her high school classmates. Both dramas have revenge towards bullies. The leads of the dramas have also trauma from bullying/violence. Warning for violence for both dramas.

extremely similar female leads both in appearence,personality,and goals.Deeply damaged bullied people who went through a hell of an adolscence only living for revenge afterwards.A dark and thrilling atmosphere surrounds both of these dramas,lots of gore,violent scenes,and death.

Both k-dramas have a lot of dark topics in terms of the horrible situations or actions certain people take on the innocent. Both k-dramas are similar in that the main character wants justice and takes action against the perpetrators. Taxi Driver is more focused on seeking vengeance on behalf of others whereas The Glory is a more personal focused story but they both deal with themes of violence and assault and focus on seeking revenge against those who've wronged others/the victims.

I have not seen the drama yet, but looking at the plot and how it's about revenge, I do think that king of pigs is similar to The Glory. They are both about middle age main lead who, unable to forget their past, decide to follow the path of vengeance by any means. They infiltrate their bullies lives so that they also can know what it's like to live in hell.

idk the synopsis of “the glory” reminds me of “lesson in love”. While watching lesson in love, and forgot about “the glory” I was wondering if lesson in love was the synopsis I remembered reading awhile ago. It was not though, I read the synopsis for “the glory” lol.

Lesson in Love is a Taiwanese drama. The Glory is Korean.

Similar in the sense of revenge. Both characters go through a lot of abuse (different forms) and disappear for a bit before they have their final revenge

You will get kind of the similar filling from both. Here its like the same revenge story of a female lead where her ex husband was murdered and she took upon the vow to take revange and bring justice.

Both drams have revenge plots that take years.

Both the stories are based on the the rich wealthy and top societies tormenting and tyrannize the vulnerable and weak ones and the how planned and executed the revenge against them is.
The victims had their whole life bet on getting the revenge against the perpetrators. It also shows how one can make one’s life miserable and living hell when they have nothing to loose. In my opinion I think they have a similar genre.

Both dramas deal around girls being bullied in school, adults ignoring them or being paid off, how it mentally shapes the girls and then the girls getting their revenge.

Both dramas are about girl that are from a poor background and them being bullied by a group of friends from the richer societies. Both leads get help from a male counterpart. The only difference is that Better days is solely about the effects of bullying and healing while The Glory is about the aftereffects of bullying and the lead getting her revenge.

I haven’t watched this one yet but they are both revenge dramas, but in remarriage and desires the main lead takes revenge against her ex-husbands mistress.

The Glory is the first part of the series written by Kim Eun-sook and directed by Ahn Gil-ho. Song Hye-kyo, Lee Do-hyun, Lim Ji-yeon, Yeom Hye-ran, Park Sung-hoon, and Jung Sung-il round out the cast.
