this is not just a funny, light and musical show
I want to leave a short review...There are no faults to point out about this show, everything about it is good, the actors are talented, the characters captivate, the unforgettable soundtrack, the wonderful photography, the script is perfect, the only thing that saddened me was the death of a character who I loved it a lot but I know this was necessary for the plot of the story, some characters could have had a better evolution, but anyway ianda became one of the best thai shows i've watched, maybe meeting the main cast made me get attached quickly.

It’s a Struggle to Watch
I placed a spoiler alert at the end of this review.I have mixed feeling about this series. This is mostly due to the inconsistent marketing material for this series. The description, poster and opening credits make this seem it should be a fun and light show but it’s not. It was also a struggle for me to finish this series. It did not need to be 18 episodes.
The positive: It has a great cast. I give them credit for doing their best with the material they were given. The production value was also great. It’s obvious this series had a big budget because the sets and locations were great. It also had beautiful cinematography and great audio.
The negative: The main problem is the script. I don’t know how much it mirrors the Korean original story (Persevere, Goo Hae Ra), but this script is a complete mess. I think the main story line is the characters are trying to break into the music industry. However, this gets watered down by the numerous different storylines introduced throughout the series. Another problem is the series loses its light and whimsical feel in the middle of episode one. I love dramas with comedy elements, but this series does not do it well. There is no smooth transition between the comical and dramatical elements of the script.
The in-between: The music is great, but it should have been better considering this is a series about the music industry. You hear the same 4 songs over and over again which gets boring. There is a lot of misuse of screen time which I had to skip. The ending is ok, but at least it was a happy one.
Random notes: The house used as Piano’s childhood home is the same one used in Mama Gogo (Annie’s house) and in 21 Days Theory (Q’s house). This is the first time for me to see the same location in three series back-to-back. One thing that may help with watching this is trying to spot actors that stared in various BL series. This kept me entertained.
******Potential Spoiler Alert******
Why is Lay Talay Sanguandikul shown under the character Sun in the opening credit after this character dies. They should have changed the credit to reflect the character Ray after episode 5. The English dialog on the train in episode 6 was very awkward. It was basically two actors regurgitating lines from a script in the hope they don’t screw the lines up.

A very anticipated series but it’s quite a disappointment
I was waiting for watching the series but honestly after 12 episodes watching it feels a bit like a torture. You would think it’s a musical series with lots of performances, singing, dances, stunning choreography well you won’t get almost anything here. The most problem part is changing the original plot and creating a couple out of nowhere from Sol and Nassy while in the Korean version Sol never cared about Nassy it was always SolPiano. If you don’t know Nassy just enough to say she’s the most annoying female character I’ve ever seen with very bad personality. Completely absurd why Sol would like her but unfortunately he does and without in love with her even starting a relationship with her.
While Piano gets Sun’s twin brother Ray for her love interest. So they messed up the original plot very badly and made the story unrealistic.
The good part of the series is Saint’s acting, he makes the series keep going but even Sol’s character is lacking, which is not his fault but it’s on the screenwriters
I’m most probably going to finish it after watching 12 episodes but it’s not a big pleasure.
If you like the annoying girlfriend trope this series is perfect for you or if you’re a devoted fan of Saint’s acting like me.

I'm usually lazy in watching a series but this one, I enjoyed. Now, I can use my Netflix.
I love it! The production obviously spent much. The cinematography is that of a movie and each sequence is properly put together. The OST is also great, but I mostly want to hear the full piano version. I like that even though it's a music genre, you don't put musical scenes all the time, just proper timing. The acting is great too, all the actors conveyed proper emotions. Right now, I feel bad for all of them especially Sol, Sun and Piano. These characters have issues of their own. I'm starting to see the selflessness of Sol, he is misunderstood. He obviously put himself in the background and would not even talk if Sun does not want him too. He wants Sun to get the spotlight, it's very clear; Sun does not see his worth, he is too focused on being compared to his brother, not seeing that he gets to do whatever he wants because his brother lets him; Piano is a dreamer and full of passion. I like that she is not afraid to show his feelings but at the same time not being too pushy with Sol and I also like that she frankly told Sun that they can't be together. Right now, I mostly feel bad for Sol and irritated with Sun because of the petty things he does. Can't believe it takes other people for him to realize that whatever Sol does is mostly for him. Just 2 episodes and I'm already seeing each characters depth. I'm looking forward to more episodes. I know that music genre is not popular to the casual viewers but it's obviously more than that. I hope more people can watch it.Was this review helpful to you?
Sing Again shows the friendship n struggles of 3 teens to achieve their dreams in music
I usually don't watch thai series but I just watched the series SingAgain ep 1 and i must say i loved it . The quality of the series is superb , it's like watching a movie . The ost of the series is the highlight , since it's a music themed one , we'll get to see so many performances.About acting , I can say that all the cast did a great job . The character Sol caught my attention , such a graceful character , the actor is handsome as well , i couldn't take my eyes off him . I felt bad for Sun , he is such a cutie . I loved piano too , she is so cute . Overall I'll say it's such fun entertaining series with so much more to it . It is my current fav one .

Too much gimmicks and less of a performance value for musical genre
Pros -1. Light hearted story with and coming-of-age that convey audience to engage with the development of character and their relationship.
Cons -
1. The overall performance compare to other musical genre series is considered as lack luster. The use of overlay audio seems to prove lacking in talent skill in musical genre.
2. The performance during the casting in EP 1 should be extend to convey the audience of each cast personality and extend those for development in future episode.
Would expect to see more performance development in the next episodes.
