Yanko Yataro, who was born as a samurai but hated the samurai family and became a yakuza, hung up his sandals and went to Matsuida Yado Torataro in Matsuida-juku in Kisoji for a trip. That night, I went out to see the festival with Torataro's daughter Oyuki at the town's evening festival. Then, she learns that a woman named Omaki, a Kikyo shop, takes Torataro as her guide but also has a crush on Daihachi, a kagura performer who competes with him. The next morning, Yataro sets out on his journey again and meets Morisuke Kuwayama, a close friend of his from his samurai days and a road patrol official. For Oyuki's sake, he told Kuwayama about Maki's incident, which turned him into an enemy, and Kotaro was killed for Daihachi's sake. Yataro suddenly learned about this while traveling, and like a god, he rushed down Kisoji to Matsuida-juku. Then, he cleared Torataro's grudge against Daihachi and also regained the territory that had been stolen from him.
