Louis has a meal with Mr. Lin, expressing gratitude for the latter's assistance. However, when he sees Dr. Liu Bin He's surgery and witnesses Wang Yang Ming's dedication to the patient, he feels that this is the true embodiment of a doctor. Unable to bear the thought of Wang Yang Ming getting fired if he doesn't return, Louis declines Mr. Lin's kindness and returns to Ankang.
