Worst horror movie ever
The actings were amateur especially the main actress’s, and their actings were very awkward throughout the whole movie. Plus it wasn’t scary at all. Also the scene jumps here and there and many parts just didn’t connect and didn’t make sense. I feel like it could have been better if the storyline was better constrcuted. The ending was also weird and left us hanging. Why introduce a new ghost in the ending??????????? What for?????????????????? So don’t waste your time at all if you like horror movies.Was this review helpful to you?

WHAT HORROR?
Honestly, Chinese horror movie have always leave me confused than scared... and this movie is one of the worst I've ever seen.There's no solid STORYLINE, just pure rubbish.
A whiny ass baby sister who wants to see her dead older sister that committed suicide in the hospital and a young widow who wants to see her dead husband that died on the operating table due to complications.
A strained relationship between father and son, works as Taoist exorcist priest that does ghost tour.
The acting is just so meh. The whole movie is just MEH and useless. Atleast murder all of them in gruesome way. Not some lousy jumping off the window flashback crap.
The main ghost was some evil spirit mother who lost her son and couldn't accept the death of her child, so she dose herself with gasoline and flame herself to death in the hospital morgue.
Is that scary? Barely.
Heck, makes me think that we Chinese can't handle watching pure horror movie. 🤔
The special effects? Cheap work.
Just not worth watching if you're expecting a good Chinese horror movie.
Just stick to Chinese comedy horror movie, especially the ones from 80's and 90's.

A little easy horror movie for fun
This is an average horror movie. What could you expected? Some jumpscares, a bad acting, lots of cliche. Is there something good? The hospital looks nice and it has a good atmosphere. The ghosts looked good but i saw scarier. I liked one point in the plot. I didn't find any shocking moments here but there weren't any repulsive moments either. This movie is good for time when you're bored and you don't want to think too much.I will probably forget this movie soon.
PS: I watched it in the dark room after midnight...

This is the movie for you if you are a completely lifeless, good for nothing, disappointment and a person with all the time the world has to offer also someone whose disgusting taste in movies no one can beat, then i am delighted to tell you--- you will LOVE this godawful abomination of a movie. I feel disgusted at myself for calling this a 'film' to define whatever piece of shit this is. You are more likely to understand the plot of a show made for a 1 year old than this one. No word in english dictionary will be able to define how stupid, bland, BASIC,BAD and plotless the plot was. If you donot have the time to watch every horror movie ever made then watch this one because the director took ever horror movie ever and made this disgusting piece of work. They honestly could not decide if they wanted to be a low budget silly horror or a deep social commentary about the overworked hospital staff and dealing with grief. At the end, everything was just cheap and meaningless and not one plot line was explored nor explained.
Saying the movie is based on a true story is a stretch of its own. Xinglin Hospital did not close down because of an unexplained surge in suicides and people setting themselves on fire. Fraudulent records, medical malpractice, and allegations of wrongful death - typical case of poorly run hospital with overworked staff. They could not deal with legal issues with fragmented ownership over the place, hence they closed it down. Not as frightening as what we saw in the movie.
The plot was sadly not the only weak part of the movie. I always say: if you can’t make good special effects, give up and try to work around it. I’m truly tired of seeing ghost creepy snapchat filters in horror movies.
What’s good? All the scenes that did not have any special effects in them were truly pretty, shot in a nice way, with nicely balanced colors. The acting was also decent. Nothing to be amazed by, but also nothing to complain about.
Overall, it’s just not worth it.

história ruim, atuação ruim, áudio ruim, música ruim. repete muitas cenas como a muié se jogando da janela sozinha e com a irmã. não dá pra ver isso
