Where do I start?
I came for Alen. I got to episode 6. The only reason I got that far was the comedy. The story is a train wreck though. Too many idiots in a confined space. The third generation of warriors in the Yan Shan sect really aren't smart. How did they ever have apprentices? And their apprentices are smarter than them. Even the Grand Master kept mentally face palming. I kinda get where the story will be going in the future but it will be too excruciating for me to watch. I don't see enough of Alen in this even though he got top billing. I really hate to give such a review. Sorry Alen. I have to wave goodbye.Was this review helpful to you?
It was entertaining!
considering the low rating reviews and harsh comments I thought it would be horrible but I've seen worse and this isn't even bad! That being said, I started it for Alen Fang, and I have mostly (not totally) skipped everything else.I decided to give it a go by first 5 and then decide to drop or not, and as a result, by the 4th episode it took me by surprise that I find myself interested in finishing it, so I continued!
At this point I'm used to the 'ML/FL not being focus of story and instead the drama revolves around the stupidest of characters' in cdramas. you can call it filler episodes.
The story isn't something special, 2 sects with their own baffling rules being on each others throats for generations.. having a slight hope of ending the resentments depending new leaders and new generation to take over.
Initially It wasn't as funny as I expect from a comedy but later (after 10th episode) it became better... some bits were so funny.
their blunt comments and reactions were so hilarious!
I watched this for the romance and although it was secondary to the plot, I think it was good enough. Xing Mu and Qing Qiu had good chemistry. The chemistry was even better after ep 11!!
At some point I liked the Yu Lang & Ling Long couple as well!
There are some characters that I disliked such as Wei Qi and Yi Xin (she was an impulsive idiot). they just annoyed me!
if it wasn't for these 2, I would've given this an 8.
As for the grand master... I was speechless whenever he appeared... It's just... uh... I wasn't used to seeing him like that!
By the end of the drama, I realized I was only skipping these 3 characters scenes and I didn't miss out anything! The rest of the characters gradually grew on me.
the fight scenes were also decent. the costumes looked good as well.
overall it's an okay watch and it was entertaining.
so if you are in a dilemma and want something easy to watch, just give this a try.

Whole story is just silly
An all girl clan vs an all boy clan where they can never get married due to some ancient hatred and I know you are thinking oh wait how do they get new members?By ep 9 villain female comes out trying to kill 2 clan heads (who are in love and decided to leave the clan to get married). Both clan present and just watched!
And then you are thinking oh can't they all just tell her the truth before fight started? I mean there was a lot of dialogue already.
Can't both clan just gang up on ONE single female villain and call it?
This kind of story writing is painful to watch.....

Roteiro fraco, trama sem sentido, personagens sem carisma
Drama é bem mediano.Em primeiro lugar, a comedia é fraca se o drama se proproe em ser uma comedia ele tem que ter seus acertos e isso não ocorre, se a ideia era fazer aquele casal mais jovem ser engraçado, não funcionou, o personagem masculino é extremamente bobo, ah quem defenda que ele ainda é "jovem", mas um jovem vai agir pior que criança? aja paciência, se uma FL aja feito boba eu até relevo pq ela pode até quem sabe ser fofa, mas um homem fazendo o mesmo é risível.
O romance é abaixo do esperado, a FL não tem lá muito carisma, apesar de que eu gosto da atriz, então passo pano, o ML não funciona, mas talvez seja por causa da personalidade dele, meio que nenhum deles é do tipo que... que nem os personagens da
Eleanor Lee, sabe? aquela FL que puxa pra si e tem carisma, ela vai e faz, dou o exemplo de "Fake Princess" a personagem dela carrega o drama nas costas, mas aqui isso não acontece, ambos FL e ML são duas tabuas um é mais sem graça que o outro, sabe? num relacionamento alguém tem que ser o engraçado, não da pra os dois serem "frios".
Os casais secundários, o que parece ser um pouco mais serio até funciona, por que a personagem feminina em questão não é uma boba, ela sabe o que quer.
Por outro lado os mais 'jovens' sinceramente não funciona, personagem muito bobo demais me cansa fácil.
A trama me parece bem fraca e as decisões do roteiro são assombrosas, vou me ater ao ep 9 "Como não usar uma trilha sonora", nesse episodio tem um climax, o roteiro tem a brilhante ideia de colocar uma ost (trilha sonora) pra tocar de fundo, isso simplesmente destruiu a cena coreografada, reparem que em certo momento personagem X fala algo e a OST ta mais alta que a voz de personagem X. Não é um erro usar uma trilha sonora de fundo, mas precisa ser bem feito, o diretor precisa ter o timing de como usar e quando usar, dos dramas mais recentes lembro de Ancient Love Poetry e Till The End of The Moon.
Devo mencionar bons dramas com boas trilhas sonoras: Ever Night, Sword Snow Stride ou Joy of Life.

Historia divertida
A pesar de que en cuanto a historia y villanos no es una historia muy compleja, me gusto mucho esta serie ya que desde un principio te dejan claro que la trama principal se desarrolla en la relación que establecen los personajes de ambas sectas. Las tres parejas que se formaron estuvieron lindas, cada una con una relación distinta, pero me gusto que ninguna fue toxica. Los hermanos menores Wei Qi y Yi Xin eran demasiado tiernos y graciosos, ambos eran muy inocentes, pero juntos crecieron tanto en poder como socialmente, de verdad me sacaban carcajadas cada vez que interactuaban y salían con sus ocurrencias; los hermanos mayores eran muy poderosos, pero para el amor eran algo torpes, pero con ayuda de sus hermanos lograron avanzar en este aspecto; y los hermanos segundos Ling Long y Yulang también eran fabulosos, eran demasiado inteligentes y la mano derecha de sus hermanos y sectas, además eran la relación más compleja y picante de todas (Aunque me hubiera gustado que fuera más picante). Es una serie que te hace pasar un buen rato, y a pesar que si tiene sus momentos de drama, mayormente vas a poder disfrutarla con tranquilidad, esta cortita y es muy divertida, así que la recomiendo muchoWas this review helpful to you?
