This is a short movie by the same director as my journey to you. This has the same dark and gripping tone .

Both have the same director, so the same style and vibes. Both have excellent action scenes and BL undertones.

Eight hundred years ago, Xie Lian was the Crown Prince of the Xianle kingdom, beloved by the citizens. He ascended to the Heavens at a young age of 17; however, due to unfortunate circumstances, he was quickly banished back to the mortal realm. Years later, he ascends again–only to be banished again a few minutes after his ascension.

It’s a magical tale with the right portion of mystery and visual aesthetics. The duty of life but changing through a close and dear person and the fight against those who cross that with evil.
Loved both movies dearly and rewatched many times.

Both short films played by the same two main actors and directed by the same director Guo Jingming. Both are short but full of interesting events, great and enjoyable to watch! These are more on the heavier and serious side. They go hand in hand.

Lu Wu Yi, the youngest nine-tailed fox of the organization Wu Xiang Yue, is on a mission to find the great demon, Xiao Wei. Disguised as a priest, she enters Wei Manor in Luo'an and discovers that others are also hunting Xiao Wei. Among them are Wu Shi Guang, a vengeful demon; Wu Wang Yan, her cunning nine-tailed fox sister; and Ji Ling, an innocent-looking priest with a mysterious past. All of them seek the Dragon Deity's power, but their motives vary: some want to protect, others to kill. As they navigate battles, friendships, and romance, they face obstacles and make sacrifices to protect peace and change their fates.

It’s a short film. it’s about a blind guy, Po Xiao (Played by Ding Cheng Xin) who has a cultivation manual (the heart sutra) tattooed on his body which make people are trying to capture him. So the other guy, Feng Ren (played by He Chang Xi), he's trying to protect Po Xiao.
So, the whole plot is basically the two of them running away and then some heartbreaking stuff happens, and then more heartbreaking stuff happens, but they get a happy ending at the end.
This movie is actually the second time these two actors acted together, which is great because their chemistry is freaking lit. And the director for this movie is Guo Jingming, who also the director of the Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity, L.O.R.D: Legend of Ravaging Dynasties and Painted Skin: The Guo Jingming Edition as well.

The relationship between the male leads is so special like they are truly meant for each other (soulmate). I like the way Feng Ren (played by He Chang Xi) protect Po Xiao (Played by Ding Cheng Xin). This movie is actually the second time these two actors acted together, which is great because their chemistry is freaking lit.
