important

yes, this was a beautiful episode, hard not to cry for sure, and many others explained already why it was good.I found it even better because of the bittersweet message it inlcludes. Many dramas have tear-jerker episodes, but this show want to highlight real existing problems in every episode. How nice would it be, would all this really exist, and would the real Korean war veterans, who really sit all alone, impoverished and forgotten by modern Korean highspeed society, get at least this kind of thanks and farewell. The truth is sad and different, but that's what I love K-dramas for, they often show how it could be if it would be good.

Most Heartbreaking and Beautiful Episode

I couldn't stop crying from beginning to end. I specially loved the ending, how the Jade Emperor and every member of the Escort Team came to accompany him, pay their respects and say goodbye to him. It was truly a beautiful moment, and a beautiful episode.

A heartwarming episode but not written/presented well enough (unless you are American)

I enjoyed the heartwarming story. It was a nice break from previous episodes. But old man treated like hero by all Reapers - at no point did the show presented him influencing anything major. Just encouraged his friend and that's it. Had that friend become government official that made meaningful change or had the old guy been shown to barge in strategic meetings and demanding different approach, it would have explained how he could have been the single person that influenced tide of war. Then it would have made sense to escort him like a hero. Now it looked like Koo felt sorry for old man and Director agreed. So what, do they treat every one of veterans (thousands) like this? No, they said it's special case - so make it show in his past.Despite what Americans think, all veterans are not heroes. A lot of them are just doing their job and lose their lives unnecessarily. Many commit terrible acts of violence while serving. I didn't know Koreans also have this view of veterans.

It's like the series in slowly stitching together all the broken pieces of my soul.

On the 6th episode, and every single one of them till now made me cry. I believe that most of us might have thought of death and suicide once in our lifetime, especially if you are in your late 20s or older. While such thoughts were not prominent in my 26 years of life, there have been some weak moments. And even though this a fantasy series, it has made me feel proud of myself about the fact that I stood like a mountain in those weak moments when giving up was so easy. I know life is hard for most of us. It's very rare that someone is not suffering in one way or another but actually valuing your's and other's life isn't easy. So, everyone out there who is going through hard times - stay strong, don't give up just yet; maybe life has something better for you in the store. And know that you will find at least one person in the world who would want you to stay and live happily. If no one has ever told you that, I will tell you. I want you to live to your fullest. I want you here, on this earth, living a life that you would be proud of on your last day.

Farewell

This episode was filled with emotional roller coaster moments and a great tribute to Korean War veteran Lee Young Chun from the Escort, Risk management teams, and Jade Emperor. Though Lee Young Chun had a miserable life and knew when exactly he was about to die, he carried out daily errands and died peacefully. This episode showed us more about Ryeon and Park as a person and the difficulties faced by Reaper while escorting a soul. Joon realised what it really means to be Grim Reaper.

Korean War Veteran

The BEST honor a drama could give to our veterans is set as an example in Tomorrow Episode 6 with the 91 year old Korean War veteran. The details which went into this episode were excellent, right down to the older man veteran appearing before his mother who died during his service to his country. The last time she'd laid eyes on him was when he was leaving, so her memory of him was of a young man and that is how he appeared again before her. This episode alone is worth a whole box of tissues.

Veterans Deserve The Highest Accolades and Respect!

I rarely write or comment on individual episodes in K-Dramas, and not because I don’t want to, but because I like to wait and comment on the show itself. However, this episode touched me in the deepest way possible. I have the utmost respect for anyone who serves their country in its defense and during times of war. One of the best TV shows ever done—and still resonates with me each time I watch it—is Band of Brothers. I have also read numerous books on WWII about the brotherhood and unconditional love that exists on the field of battle. Every veteran should be given such respect and treatment. This episode features a veteran of the Korean War. He believes his life has been a series of hardships without any real recognition or reward. Suffering from PTSD, he’s largely shunned by the community, and he sees his life as not amounting to much. In short, he sees his life as a failure. The Reapers quickly remind him that his life has been anything but a failure! He’s given his heart, soul, blood, and mind to the service of his country. How can any such service be deemed a failure? It can’t! Thus, one of the most empowering and tender moments I have ever witnessed is given to this brave man as every single Reaper comes to pay their respects and to help escort him to the next life. What a moment!Have a box of tissues nearby for this one! And remember to thank your servicemen and veterans whenever you can. They deserve at least that much!

I cried

I really did. It was beautiful. I am speechless. I am so glad this man received the respect he deserved, even if it's only on his last day and in death.

Heartwarming

If i could give this episode 11/10, I would. This episode has a delicate balance between respect and grief. The character mentality of the veteran is explicit—one where he learns to appreciate his decisions made. Overall, this episode was the most impactful. Acting was fine and storyline was precise, nothing flowery about it. It is heartwarming to finally be able to comprehend the complexities of making such an integral decision (to serve the country). This episode accurately depicts this harsh truth, and is an episode that was detailed and thorough. Job well done.My only negative takeaway about this episode was when the soldier meets his mom, and he appears to be in his 20s again. Sure, that’s great, but it begs the question of what age one will look like in the afterlife, will everyone be presented with the best looks they have? This portion needs slight exploration for the drama to be a ton more believable.

A proper salute to the forgotten heros

This episode gave a great interpretation into how veterans suffer both physically and mentally. I loved that they gave the character such a respectful ending and how they portrayed the ignorance of society towards forgotten heroes. This episodes story and soundtrack were paired so well that it led me to tears.

Tearjerker

WOOOW this episode I was bawling ! Such a great episode especially if you want to cry haha. But I love how the show is showing so many different reasons why people may commit suicide and showing us diverse ages as well.
But this episode was amazing with a great story, very heavy and sad but i love that this drama is bringing awareness about suicide and many different topics.

A tearjerker of an unsung hero

This episode pays tribute to an unsung war hero. It is well performed by all actors. The war scenes were done very well. It is undeniable that as we go through our daily lives those of us who've never been acquainted with soldiers of war may not understand what they had sacrificed and we sometimes do not appreciate that what we have today was the courage and efforts of those who were in the previous wars. There are still "wars" going on even to this moment between people who are bent in destroying people for profit (terrorists, drug cartels, etc) and those who are fighting them in silence to protect our countries and a safe lifestyle.

Three Stars

As good as this episode is, I feel like it didn't reach the level the previous episodes did. Definitely not bad, I just feel it didn't have that emotional punch that I was looking for with such an interesting episode idea.

Best Episode Yet!

Coming from another country, we never get to fully grasp the impact from a war on another or those who have served. This episode was heart felt and respectful in ways that I truly loved. Honestly, I cried my eyes out because I loved how respectful and honoring it was for any under represented war veterans.

A Soul indeed became a Star ☆☆☆

This drama portrays all the trauma of life, work, or relation that leads to the particular dreaded choice, quite nicely in all the episodes. This particular episode titled 'A Soul Becomes a Star' was so freaking simple yet grand! This particular episode was so beautifully done, everytime I hear, or read about those who lost their lives fighting for the country I always feel what a waste of precious life for people who wouldn't even care. This episode didn't change that though a bit, but the empathy and respect for war veterans & those who make the hard choices do increase tenfold. The glimpse we get to see of his life post-war is so real and unfair. The escort was expected yet so emotional. What a farewell. A soul indeed became a star. ❤

An episode dedicated for all war veterans

Thank you very much for Episode 6. Our grandfather never received the respect and honour he deserves as a WW2 veteran, he and many other veterans like him, were denied the benefits, financial support, respect, and honour when they continued on with their lives.Institutions, politicians, and governments, only paid lip service and delayed the bills that could have given them proper support. Yes, the bills eventually became laws but only after most of the veterans already passed away. They wouldn't even give posthumous awards, promotions, and/or recognition.Thank you very much for Episode 6. It may be dedicated for the Korean War veterans, but it resonates very powerfully with all war veterans in all countries, if not for them, majority of us wouldn't be enjoying the life we have today./bow/salute

What a great Veteran episode. I only managed…

What a great Veteran episode. I only managed to just skim the original webtoon arc since the English version hadn't reached this part yet so I'm glad I at least was able to see the episode properly in drama. Drama made some changes on the scene where Mr Lee returned from war but I suppose that's a good thing. I'm not sure that I could deal with the episode if that part happened the same way as in the webtoon. Really great cider near the end. Though I can't help feeling that some of Joonggil's lines were given to Ryeon, but hey, Joonggil still had some good scenes regardless so I'm happy. I really love all the JoongRyeon scenes we're getting.
