Noriko works at a women's clothing booth in a department store. By chance, she meets Yamada, an employee of an import trading company. Soon, the man changes her life, not only by giving her a new job, but also by engaging in an affair with her. The only obstacle to their happiness is Kinuko, the wife of a man, who learns about the affair, and becomes emotionally unstable because of it .
