Gu Sheng slept in Mo Qing Cheng's room, while Mo Qing Cheng slept with Zhou Zheng. However, Zhou Zheng wanted to be a matchmaker and deliberately pretended to be asleep, kicking and beating Mo Qing Cheng. Mo Qing Cheng had no choice but to return to his room, and the two of them were alone. One slept on the bed and the other slept on the sofa. They were all tossing and turning, unable to fall asleep. Finally! We have officially started the, "Meet the family", phase!

So we got (a) FL meeting ML's cousin - who looks like she'll be a very supportive bestie. Followed up rapidly by (b) ML meeting FL's mother and auntie ... in what could have been a drawn out exaggerated misconception scenario with all kinds of extreme drama or comedy, if this show was written like so many others. Instead it was quickly cleared up by simple adult conversation and everyone has a pleasant chuckle. FL's mother quickly takes an instant liking to MQC so that's an important hurdle cleared. Now we need a formal introduction to all of her crazy, over-protective brothers!!!

Peak awkwardness and absolute cuteness

This episode must be one of my favourites now. All the little misunderstandings, awkward situations, and secret shoves (yes, I am pointing at you, Zhou Zheng! 🫵) made it so funny and entertaining to watch.

MQC's introduction to Sheng's mother in no place other than the maternity ward of a hospital... well, could it get any more awkward than that? Yeah, that was the peak moment of this episode, I think. 😂🤭

That date Zheng planned for Xiao Xing was so sweet. 🤗

And even though I haven't seen the drama "Amidst a Snowstorm of Love", was the book an Easter egg or a reference to it? I can't tell because I don't know the links there, but it's still quite interesting that they included this shoutout. 👍
