The makeover

I always appreciate makeover scenes. It's cliche, but fun. Still, the clothes are basic. They are somewhat showy for professional setting even. But I get that it shows Li Fei's preference. Nevertheless, in a world, where they are more playful with looks. I'm sure either choices by Qian Fei would absolutely work. What I love about this part are: the fun and comfort they have with each other; their communication and reaffirmation; and how good Wang Chu Ran looks in that outfit. (Admittedly, she is very slim. But it's not common to see such an hourglass figure that is also rosy and bursting with life.) FeiFei light up the screen whenever they are together.

I also like how they actually address the aftermath of the scene they cause in the previous episode. More so, they utilise and further develop the characters and storyline of Dang Yu and Da Jun. They finally show some potentials, not in an annoyed or creepy way, but earnestly.

Video goes viral

Dang Yu finished up what QingQing started. She uploaded the video with the lobby yelling match and it went viral. So now Mr Liao responded with lawyer letters to Qian Fei and Dang Yu demanding a public apology or things would get ugly in court. Dang Yu responded with a livestream apology which was countered by Jun Cheng. Here the idiot did an incredibly sweet thing. He stayed live online all day till he started to trend and veer the trolls away from her. This earned him a date at a haunted escape room. Here he lost all the cool points from livestream to cowardly hide behind her. 😝🤣 His mom is trying to butt in again, but so far is two steps behind. We can only hope it will stay that way. I truly like Dang Yu’s character. If she can find a way to stand him and family, I will hope she beats some sense into them.🤣😂😝Jian Fei was asked to leave her notes and leave the meeting. She had tried privately apologizing to Ms Liao and it was heard but not recognized. YiFei gets her an outfit that I agree with her too short for office, but she looks damn cute instead of thrift store model. 🤣😂 she gets her hair done too and lamenting investing 3k into herself. Her friends will thank YiFei for accomplishing this. 👏🏻 Ms Liao and Wang are talking at the end. She was not behind the legal action and she has no issue with Qian Fei working in project. I really resent Wang maligning Qian Fei’s character when her only crime had been her support of him and their relationship. He is a petty weak man and not worth either of these capable business women’s time. That he wants her removed from a project because she has the skills that he lacks and he feels inferior as a result, is his own damn problem.😝He should bow out and take care of his parents and leave the business part to the capable ones. 😝
