I quite savour the little mess Fei's old workplace has now when she's not there anymore. 🤭 And to be fair, I don't want her to go back there. Instead, I want her to join some rival company and beat her old one, so they realise what a treasure they threw away just because some niece asked her uncle! 🔥 So to say—a little payback for not valuing her enough. 😤Once again, I completely loved Jingjing—she can give the best advice. And I am so happy for her own happy moment! 🥰Yifei's lack of any household skills... 🙄 khm. I already see where they can help each other to improve. 😉 And those little continuous acts of care? They are so cute! Love to watch how they slowly grow closer. 🤗💖P.S. Sad for the parents. 🥺

I decided to give it a try: watching on a daily basis, according to the series' schedule rather than piling then binging and it... works! So far.
I commend the writer, director and production. They were able to compact these single episodes that at the end, I am satisfied and still looking forward to the next day (sans the annoying urge like that of many popular idol drama series). Truly a light-hearted drama. No wonder it occupies the 9:30PM time slot.
This episode sees Fei Fei bonding over their shared experience and opening up to one another. Fun with a dash of cuteness. They are slowly building up their relationship - wherever it leads them, I'm not a bit worried.
I'm also not worried about the entitled co-worker, director Fang Yun or even the ex-boyfriend. They serve their purposes in the story. If they are found irritating or infuriating, the actors must have done well themselves.

They're starting to warm up to each other. I love that Qian Fei realised the mistake she made of wasting all this time on a man and is ready to move on. I hope the talent and knowledge she has will help her in the future.

The scene where Qian Fei calls her dad is so sad, it made me want to cry. She endures all her struggles alone because she doesn't want to burden him. It's truly touching

🤣😂 The face mask scare was hilarious. And that rip off the face.😂🤣 Thanks to Yi Fei overloading the circuit Qian Fei comes home to a dark house. After fixing the breaker an electrician shows up because YiFei is definitely not Mr fixit. 🤣😂 She shows him how to turn breakers back on and where all the shut off valves are for appliances and water. He may or may not remember it all.😂 She works very hard to get a report ready to show her old boss and has her friend check it out. She told her she should check with a professional to see how it stacks up. Her friend gets a very cute proposal after trying to make her bf eat the ring box.😂🤣 ‘so that’s the finger it goes on.’😂🤣 These two are very sweet. 🥰 She is a top notch friend with good advice. I really dislike her willingness to make a scene when she’s lost her temper, but her sweetness in everything else balances it out. The conversation segued to mothers’ passing and that was an unexpected commonality for both of them. Qian Fei’s father sent her a picture album of all her growing up pictures and she finally fesses up that she broke up. Her dad is very understanding and just wants her to be happy. At work YiFei finds a bunch of discrepancies but knows his work partner wants him to get the backlash and her the credit. He is still deciding how to deal with the head leader of the project that will indeed take offense at the findings. Mean girl and uncle leave work and mean girl just has to circle back and make Qian Fei doubt herself. YiFei is funny knowing something is up with free dinner and finally has Qian Fei fessing up to the favor when episode ends. It seems from preview her work is not wanted by Ms Fang because she thinks Qian Fei cheated on her bf. As if. 😝After Qian Fei’s happy wife to be speech she seems to see her as a hypocrite but she really should have asked about it rather than just assume. It was so out of character that she should have wondered. 😝 YiFei tucking her in and getting his door upgraded. Bit by bit he is helping her out but acting arrogant to distract her from the kindness. I hope that Ms Fang does fail her because with mean girl and uncle to block her, even Ms Fang lacks the clout to shield her. YiFei has a much better shield for her, she just doesn’t have a clue about it yet. The cherry on top would be showing the fraud of the company her ex bf now works for. Waiting for next episode to see how things play out. I am liking how the actors interact and how the story is unfolding. It is both fun and endearing when least expected with family and friendship dynamics.
