Fireworks Took Their Own Sweet Time!!!!
Love Has Fireworks is one of those dramas that starts by quietly lighting a match, then eventually turns into a proper fireworks display. It is not perfect, but it is a fun and enjoyable watch.The story itself is good, although the first several episodes felt a little padded. At times it seemed like scenes were added simply to make the episode count look respectable. Once the plot settled into its stride, it became much more engaging and the pacing improved.
The female lead is one of my favourites, so I was already biased before pressing play. Thankfully she did not disappoint. She once again delivered a natural, warm performance with just the right amount of charm and emotional depth. She makes even ordinary moments enjoyable to watch.
The male lead surprised me the most. I have always liked him, although he has never made my personal "sexy list." I was honestly a little hesitant because I had not really seen him carry a role with this much comedy before. Well, I happily stand corrected. He absolutely nailed it. His comedic timing became one of the highlights of the drama, and as the episodes went on he completely grew on me in this role. His emotional scenes were equally convincing. Stellar acting from both leads.
The chemistry worked well, although if you are hoping they become a couple early, you will need some patience. Their relationship really gets moving around the early thirties in the episode count, so this is definitely a slow simmer rather than an instant spark.
Now, before anyone says there are no misunderstandings or breakup drama, let's be realistic. There are misunderstandings, and some of them are stretched a little further than they probably needed to be. They are not painfully frustrating, but they are there, so I would not call this a misunderstanding free drama.
My biggest pet peeve was the number of romances happening all at once. It sometimes felt like everyone except the office furniture had their own love story. Personally, I prefer the main couple to stay the main attraction, with perhaps one secondary romance if it genuinely adds humour or strengthens the friendships. Here, the romantic spotlight occasionally wandered a little too much.
Production quality was solid throughout. The cinematography looked polished, the sets were attractive, and everything had a bright, comfortable feel that suited the story. Nothing flashy, just consistently well made.
The soundtrack fit the mood nicely without trying to steal the show. It complemented the emotional and lighter moments well, even if none of the songs ended up permanently living on my playlist.
Overall, Love Has Fireworks is an easy, entertaining watch with lovable leads, strong performances, plenty of laughs, and enough heart to keep you invested. It is not trying to reinvent the romantic comedy wheel, but it rolls along comfortably and does its job well.
Final verdict. Come for the female lead. Stay because the male lead quietly sneaks up on you and steals the show. Just be prepared to share the romance with what feels like half the supporting cast.

Highly recommend it
I love JC-T, and he didn't disappoint with this one. He can do both funny and serious roles brilliantly. First time watching Wang Chu Ran as the lead and I liked her too.The story started out quite the typical way with a lot of "chance" enounters that certainly were too unrealistic. I didn't expect much from the start. But when they started living together after breaking up their individual relationships, things became interesting. The flow of of the story and how they gradually grew on each other and helped each other was well written. I didn't expect there'd be villains among the characters around them though. There was no buildup of backstories on them. Didn't really understand why they did the things they did. Let's just say they were only put there to complicate the main leads' lives a little. Usually, the other side characters' stories are just fillers for a drama but this one didn't feel like it. I liked the second and third couples. Jun's story showed that being a mama's boy was not necessarily a bad thing. His mom was so cool and funny! She definitely stole the show for this segment. One more thing I love in this drama is the OST. The lyrics "你,你,你" definitely got stuck in my head and I'm sure it'll get stuck on yours too😁

Love Has Fireworks reminded me that love isn't always loud or dramatic. Sometimes it grows quietly through everyday moments, shared struggles, and unwavering trust.The female lead never compromised her values. She chose to live honestly, stayed optimistic despite hardships, and never hesitated to help others, even at the cost of her own comfort. The male lead, who initially admired her, slowly fell in love—not because she changed for him, but because she inspired him to see the world differently and become a better version of himself.
What I loved most was their chemistry. As roommates, they struggled to understand whether what they felt was love or simply care, making their relationship feel natural and relatable. But the male lead's quiet acts of kindness truly stood out. He always helped her behind the scenes, never asking for recognition, casually saying, "It's already taken care of," as if it were nothing.
To me, that's what made this drama special. Love isn't about grand gestures; it's about being someone's peace, silently standing beside them, and making them feel they never have to face life alone.

Should been a shorter drama
Thae only good thing i can say was the leads had good chemistry the storyline was good however this drama did not need to be 36 episodes should be 24 it took to long for them to be together which made it annoying the AI sml character made no sense you can tell it was AI he didnt look real words didnt match the lip movement. I would like to see tan jian ci and wang chu do a another drama together hopefully with better storyline. I did like the other two couples too. Would i recommend this drama nope only if your ok with the slowest burn romance i ever seen next to the dazzling.Was this review helpful to you?
It was okay, just stayed for the leads
I thought that it wasn’t the best; I only watched it for the female lead. One of the other side's couple of stories, I really did not like, and I skipped over his scenes. And the Al of the ex-boyfriend really put me off, so I skipped most of his scenes as well, as I couldn't get past how awkward it looked.Was this review helpful to you?

Glad Allowed out of Cold Storage
Watched due simultaneously with First Jasmine: two offset each other well. Like other reviewers shared, didn't need the third couple/his family at all - would have preferred more dating time to replace. My first time watching Tan Jian Ci who won me over despite my initial chemistry skepticism (height/frame compared to FL). Speaking of Wang Churan I watched out of curiosity as didn't care for her toxic FL character in Fireworks of My Heart nor I Dare You story (lasted 2 episodes but did watch all FOMH as Yang Yang and BinBin fan). Despite AI face swap glad this drama funally released and wish C would end policy that is bad for cast, crew, investors, AND viewers.Was this review helpful to you?
More warmth than fireworks
Sometimes all I need is a light romance that doesn’t try too hard, and this drama fit that mood perfectly. The story isn’t particularly groundbreaking, but it has enough charm to keep the episodes flowing effortlessly. The leads share a comfortable chemistry that makes it easy to root for them, and I liked how their relationship developed gradually instead of relying on constant misunderstandings. There were moments where the pacing slowed down and some conflicts wrapped up a little too conveniently, so it never reached the emotional highs I was hoping for. Still, the characters were likable, the atmosphere was cozy, and it became the kind of drama I looked forward to at the end of the day. The only thing that left me a little disappointed is that, after waiting years for this, the final result didn’t hit me the way I had imagined. A questionable choice to watch, but still enjoyable
Choosing to watch this drama was one of my questionable choices in June. Before starting, thanks to the generosity of the internet and its unwelcome spoilers, I already knew there was poor editing and that one of the characters had an AI-generated face. Those aspects made me hesitant, yet I decided to give it a try just to check out Tan Jianci, whom I liked a lot in "Love Me, Love My Voice".The first episode already proved all the buzz about the said issues to be true, but the story itself looked promising if I overlooked those flaws. It's basically about the business world, with our leads always ending up in the epicentre of many corporate schemes. They start off as business enemies of sorts, but eventually, working side by side on the same project and due to some circumstances even living together, they learn to understand and even care for each other.
Their personalities are completely opposite, leading to many comedic, chaotic, and sometimes even frustrating situations, and their banter is one of the best things this drama has. The other is the FL's best friend, Jingjing. But I must warn you, if someone wants to watch this for a lot of romance, you'd better not, because there's very little.
Overall, this is not a drama I would recommend, but it's an OK watch if you're there for any of the actors. Now I can close this chapter and move on to the next ones.
P.S. The intro song will be stuck in my head for quite some time.

good modern drama
I love the drama special the acting of tan jian ci. Fl is also good . Drama is not only have a good story but also it makes you laugh in different occasions in this time of stress finding a drama with good actors and good stories is already difficult but if you found something that makes you laugh as well is like hitting a jackpot so for me it's like a jackpot.Was this review helpful to you?

Only for fans of Tan Jian Ci
Tan Jianci is the only reason to watch this show. You can listen to the OST on music streaming services. Wang Chu Ran is a mediocre actress. She has zero chemistry with any of her leading men, including Tan Jian Ci. She cannot perform at his level and is the same as in her other shows. But the issue with this show is over all - the Story. The secondary romance is very, very cringe. The 2ML stalks the 2FL for most of the show. His mother is also stalkerish. So the romance comes off as very creepy and one wonders why on earth the 2FL would fall for him at all. But magic resolutions are the halmark of this production. The primary romance takes 30 of 32 episodes to resolve and once the pair are together, all plot lines are also magically resolved. There are some very, very sexist and gender biased plots and commentary in the show which are disturbing. Tan Jian Ci tries to soften the presentation of some his more cringe dialogue, but he can't save the over all plot.Was this review helpful to you?

Average and cliche romcom. Overrated because of famous cast.
Just average romcom drama, with unnecessary scene to extend the duration and episode's of the drama.I'm really looking forward to this drama because it has Wang Churan as the FL, but the choice of the male lead to play the role was not quite right, the good things in this drama just the comedy from main leads.
Slow-burn romance story, whenever a conflict arises (which I think includes a lot of unimportant things), the resolution is always rushed and made overly melodramatic.
The story are boring and cliche, actually there is no need for this drama to have as many as 36 episodes.
The chemistry between the two leads doesn't feel romantic at all, it feels more like a sibling dynamic.
The scriptwriter cannot portray a couple who love each other and choose one another. As a result, scriptwriters introduced elements of misunderstanding, a lack of communication, and work-related issues, leading to a silly resolution that felt forced.
And what the heck scriptwriter did to the other couple, treating them as if they were unimportant and merely there to pad out the episode's runtime. Only made the drama even worse.
Sometimes, a talented actor like Wang Churan and others famous actors ends up in a mediocre production. It wasn't because of an inability to act or a mistake in choosing the drama, it was simply because it was a job.
