Heartwarming and Funny
Watched this show with little background and no expectations, only that one of my favourite C-actor BJT had a special guest role.Glad that I did, love our 2 ladies Xiao Jiang and Wu Ayi, they had a heartwarming relationship, the progress and dynamics made sense and were precious to see and experience with them. The acting for all characters seemed natural and grounded. I really loved Xiao Jiang's dad.
Of course the story could have been better i.e. more tightly written with some plot lines reduced/removed and others expanded and shown more closure.
Nonetheless, I had a great time watching this and it will definitely be my comfort rewatch.
It's an incomplete drama ( abrubt ending with no complete closures)
Looks like the budget was cut down and they had to end the drama abruptly. The story is regarding a FL trying to flourish in her field in her hometown with a 60 year old assistant who saves the day many times. I really liked the cast of FL and her assistant. Their acting was on point. What good is acting if the story is dragged out.The FL doesn't achieve success in her field even in the ending episode. We can think that this is reality but she just gets into troubles one after the other but doesn't get out.
ex: she gets into plagarism issue and loses it, enters a competition but doesn't win, withdraws from a really big contract etc etc.
Even the love story of SML and SFL seems rushed up in the last chapter.
they just build it up slowly and suddenly end it without a complete ending . Waste of time and expectations
