Good story, great acting, fantastic film
I waited a year to watch this film and was pleasantly surprised at the story and well overall rounded acting. It had some comedy and some romance to it and the story was balanced. I will probably watch again and catch some missed shots and dialogue. I recommend if you want to spend two hours watching a good film.Was this review helpful to you?

It can happen that when you fall in love with someone and start dating, that person reveals a different personality you never expected. This movie takes that premise to the extreme: when a guy named Gil-gu meets a girl he likes, he has to deal with a daytime Seon-ji, who is kind and humble, and a nighttime Seon-ji, who is literally a demon—aggressive and unpredictable. As the movie progresses, this modern take on a romantic story starts to feel more and more like a classic fairy-tale love story.This is actually a minimalistic movie, with basically just two roles taking up about 90% of the screen time. The rest of the characters appear only in small supporting roles, mostly for comedic moments. And I must say, the movie starts strong as a comedy. I laughed out loud a few times at the beginning. Too bad they stopped investing in comedy later in the movie (how could they miss such a golden opportunity at the finale?) and focused almost entirely on the romance.
This is a very good movie for a romantic comedy and features some great scenery. It has a few loopholes, but it will be enjoyable for most viewers.

Im Yoon-ah delivers one of her most versatile performances, masterfully balancing the contrast between the sweet and lovable daytime Seon-ji and her wild, unhinged nighttime counterpart.
Ahn Bo-hyun perfectly complements her as Gil-goo, bringing unexpected warmth and tenderness while dealing with the absurdity of his job. The chemistry between them drives the movie, making their unlikely romance feel genuine.
Pretty Crazy is a charming film for those who enjoy romantic comedies with a touch of fantasy and the supernatural. It’s not perfect, but it offers memorable moments, a curious premise, and the ability to surprise you when you least expect it. If you’re open to a mix of drama, absurd humor, and a bit of suspense, this movie will give you laughter, tenderness, and a delightful chill in the night.

Pretty Crazy is a fun, comedic take on demon possession. For me, it’s one of those movies you just enjoy watching nothing too heavy, but still with a nice emotional sprinkle. The casting is good, and while the plot isn’t complicated, that actually works in its favor. This is the kind of movie I’d watch on a chill day when I don’t want to commit too much energy.*Plot *
The story follows Jung Seon-ji, a shy and polite young woman who carries a family curse. Every night at exactly 2 a.m., a demon takes over her body for a few hours. She switches from quiet and reserved to loud, colorful, and angry. Her father has been managing this curse for years, acting as the demon’s bodyguard going out with it and making sure to fulfill whatever the demon demands.
Things change when her father injures himself and can’t continue anymore. He asks their neighbor who accidentally finds out about the family secret to take over as the demon’s chaperone. That’s when things start to shift, especially after the neighbor decides he wants to do more than just supervise the demon and actually tries to help Seon-ji by finding a way to remove it from her body.
Overall, I found Pretty Crazy to be a really nice, easy watch. It’s not meant to be deep or complex, but it’s charming, funny, and surprisingly warm, perfect for when you want something enjoyable without any heavy emotional commitment.

The Need for Compassion
The first time Gil Gu came across the Seon Ji's early morning devilish persona; I got a bit scared and don't want to continue. I really do not like watching horror movies, so I stopped.After a few months, I tried again. This time with a hope of redemption for the Seon Ji. And this movie gave me that.
Korean dramas reflect their culture - if not about shamans, or demons, then it is about reincarnation or bodily possession. The last is what it is. Just like Gil Gu, there is a belief that she might be possessed by a demon, yet as she conversed with him, there seems to be some logic. Demons do not negotiate or just possess a person for a certain time.
As Seon Ji learns to trust Gil Gu, the crazy part of Seon Ji revealed her past. Seon Ji may not have the memory of Moon's possession, but with Gil Gu, Moon found someone who help her be at peace. Gil Gu's compassion touched Moon.
I like how Gil Gu's character developed in this encounter with her. He started off afraid, but later on as he said he is a good listener, had compassion towards her. It was not exorcism that she needed. It was her peaceful abode. Gil Gu is such a gentle and kind person; however, he doesn't seem to have any direction in life. This sort of a job of watching over Seon Ji had shaped him and found his purpose
I applaud Yoon-A for doing two opposite characters in this movie. Ahn Bo Hyun is such a nice guy, and I think his real self is somehow reflected in Gil Gu. I am ok that the story didn't rush to make their character fall in love but gave us hope.
Would I watch this any time soon? maybe not as the whole story is still fresh in my mind. This movie is adorable.

What a pleasure to view this entertaining movie! It was fun; the writers did a great job of keeping the plot going (without any dragging_ throughout. Relaxing Entertaining Watch
An easy going romantic comedy with an interesting twist at the ending.The lead actress pulls off the dual character challenge well. During the day she's a mild mannered personality and then at night a 'demon' inside takes over and stresses everyone close to her. The demon knows both sides but the daytime personality isn't aware of her nighttime adventures.
Well worth the time and very enjoyable.

você começa a assistir achando que na vai rir, que será uma comédia pastelona, mas acaba dando boa risadas. a história é envolvente e de certo modo em um determinado momento vc não quer que a 😈vá embora, simplesmente, de tão diferente que ela é.a atuação dos protas é incrível. ambos conseguem se expressar muito bem e quem já os conhece como pessoas, vai conseguir perceber o quanto eles realmente atuaram aqui.
Vale a pena ver, é um estilo comédia sessão da tarde que vc não vai se arrepender

Pretty Crazy, et c’est exactement ça...
Avec "Pretty Crazy", on suit Gil-goo, un jeune homme au chômage qui accepte un job improbable… garder sa voisine Seon-ji, qui est aussi belle que mystérieuse. Le jour, elle est douce et discrète, mais la nuit… elle se transforme en “démon” incontrôlable à cause d’une vieille malédiction. Gil-goo, le pauvre “nice guy” qui n’a rien demandé, se retrouve embarqué dans une tornade humaine 😅. Leur duo, c’est de la pure folie douce, un mélange de gêne, de tendresse et de malaise qui fonctionne bien 👍🏻C’est exactement le genre de film où tu te demandes : “mais qu’est-ce que je suis en train de regarder ?!?” 🤯 Et pourtant… j'ai pas lâché. C'est complètement barré, un peu bancal, mais avec une vibe que j’ai bien kiffée 🫶🏻. Par contre, ce n’est pas une romance, faut le dire clairement, les liens qui se développent sont surtout des liens amicaux du moins c'est ce que j'ai ressenti. Pour moi, ce qu’ils vivent, c’est pas de "l’amour" au sens propre malgré une certaine affection, c’est plus une connexion bizarre, entre deux êtres qui tentent juste d’exister. Lui, Il essaye de la comprendre, de l’aider à se libérer.
Après, ce film c’est un vrai ovni... 👽 je suis passée du rire au "WTF" en quelques secondes, et puis, tout à coup... il y a une scène touchan. Derrière cette folie, ça parle de solitude, de désespoir et de ce besoin de se sentir "aimé" 🥹.
La fin… je suis assez perplexe... Gil-goo balance un discours hyper touchant 🥹, et après… tout le monde s’en va, genre “merci pour le service oppa, bye 👋🏻” Il reste seul… Et cette dernière scène avec la boîte dans le dressing… c'est censée être symbolique ?!? Si oui... ben perso c'est raté. Genre on finit avec une boîte “posée sous des fringues”, comme un vieux souvenir qu’on ressort jamais 😅. Si c'était censé être poétique, encore raté ça sonnait plus comme un : “bon ben voilà, c’est fini, je range ça au placard”.
Bref, il y avait moyen de finir sur une note plus marquante. Mais là… c’était juste… creux... 😮💨
Pour finir, "Pretty Crazy" n’est pas le film de l’année, loin de là… mais je me suis pas ennuyée non plus. C’est un drôle de petit ovni, un peu cassé, un peu bizarre, mais pas vide de sens, c’était chelou… mais pas inintéressant ✌🏻

Leve e engraçado
Não sou de assistir filmes coreanos, mas fiquei curiosa sobre esse por conta de um vídeo q vi no tiktok kkkkk.Seonji é uma mulher aparentemente normal durante o dia, mas carrega um segredo incrível: à noite, ela se transforma por conta de uma maldição familiar. Essa versão “noturna” dela é bem diferente — difícil de controlar, quase como um “demônio” tomando conta.
Gil-Gu mora no andar de cima de Seon-ji. Ele é meio desocupado, sem muitas ambições aparentes, mas acaba envolvido na vida dela justamente por causa dessa transformação misteriosa. A família de Seon-ji contrata Gil-gu para fazer um “plantão” à noite e cuidar dela enquanto ela está nessa versão sombria.
O mais engraçado são os encontros a 2 da madrugada dando aquele toque descontraído e engraçado ao filme.
O que é mais curti no filme foi o arco entre os protagonistas principais, ela passa o filme inteiro carregando aquela maldição absurda de se transformar à noite, o que faz ela viver com medo de criar vínculos, medo de ser um “peso”, medo de machucar alguém.
E quando o Gil-gu entra na vida dela, dá pra sentir que é a primeira vez que ela realmente é vista — literalmente e emocionalmente.
Quando gil- Gu descobre a verdade ao invés de se afastar, ele faz justamente o contrário: fica mais perto, mais protetor, mais decidido a ajudar a Seon-ji a quebrar esse ciclo.
Sobre o filme comédia, romance e fantasia bem leveeeeeee, sem grandes emoções mas com algumas cenas engraçadas.
