This special was originally planned to air on September 12, 1991, as a substitute program in the event that a baseball game had to be canceled due to rain. However, the opportunity never arose, as the baseball game was played as scheduled. It was later considered for broadcast on several other occasions (September 10, 1992; April 15, 1993; and September 9, 1993), but each attempt ultimately fell through.
