Romcom done right
First of all, the one thing I absolutely HATED about this Drama: The setup. The disappearing twin and the agent literally KIDNAPPING the Fl was just aaaargh! For the duration of the Drama, I FF'd the agent, couldn't stand his character.In the end though, the positives outweighed the negatives. Romcom is a portmanteau of "romance" and "comedy", and this Drama delivered both in spades. So many times I was laughing out loud, and the romance between the teo leads was one of the best I've seen. As CDramas become ever more skinship-averse, this one was a rare treat, with no shortage of osculation.
I also loved the dialog. CDramas tend to be plagued with toxic patronsing chauvinism, but both the ML and SML were given great dialog that they backed up with action.
Some reviewers have complained about the separation of the OTP but that was not so much of an issue for me because it happened so VERY late in the Drama. We were not left wading through multiple episodes of misery before a platonic reunion. I found the ending perfect, especially since the final frames were the opening frames.

Good romcom material that got lost in the mines........
This drama had such a great premise to be a top romcom but alas Alas.........Great leads, different story, but becomes mundane and boring.
Such a poor ending....
The cast was all great, nice decent outfits.
The most irritating was the MLs sister. The typical baby behaving adult with crotch revealing skirts and a big black bow on the back of her head!
It almost feels like the screenplay writer got tired of the drama and quit and the others were left to make a mish mash of the leftovers.

Nice Romantic Drama with some Surprisingly Well Placed Humor
The FL , a rough around the edges Geologist ,who loves the outdoors is poached from the adventures that is her work in the field, to take the place of her famous twin sister who’s vanished from her life of acting fame.This had the typical storyline of the FL struggling with her new life but eventually settling in nicely to fame as well as a PR relationship with the ML, who surprisingly has a keen interest in geology himself. What sets this apart from other shows that have done similar storylines is the humor. These amusing moments happened at the most inopportune times which made them perfect in the context of the story.
The supporting characters were hilarious and had great chemistry with the leads. I enjoyed the FL’s team, especially her manager. Some of his facial expressions were spot on. Lol. The love story was organic and well paced. The leads had good chemistry. The push, pull, conflict and misunderstandings that eventually led to them getting together was entertaining.
However, once they got together there wasn’t much story. There were some really nice romantic moments, but essentially the series meandered along with the monotony of day to day life and love with some business “drama,” that was hardly drama at all, thrown in. The twin sister finally returned to potentially stir things up but instead brings with her a WTF moment when she reveals that their mom had died a year earlier unbeknownst to the FL. Very bizarre story twist which really was just drama for drama sake and not needed.
The inevitable exposure of the truth about the twin’s deceit and subsequent breakup of the leads made sense considering the situation. However, it wasn’t as explosive as it should’ve been. We were told rather than shown the impact. This made it difficult to feel the hurt and separation angst between the leads and thus failed to deepen my emotional investment in their journey. The other love story between the ML’s sister and right hand man didn’t work for me. Though they had chemistry, it was sibling chemistry not romantic chemistry. He looked too old for her and she was too immature for him. She was very young and should’ve enjoyed dating guys her age before settling down to marry and have a kid.
The series ending was rushed, leaving several storylines unexplained or making little sense, but I liked that it was only 22 episodes. Overall this wasn’t outstanding, but it was enjoyable and will make for a nice re-watch.

The main leads did great on acting. The support leads were also fun to watch. The drama ends how it starts. Not too bad. There wasn’t any music to it, and I loved how the main leads started off with hating each other but then ended up falling in love.
However during the late teens episodes, the story is kinda slow.

Strong leads, personality antis, warming up to love
Ah I can speak all day about this drama. First of all, a strong FL who is not brainless are hard to come by in the wild land of chinese dramas. While this is a contract marriage drama, it is yet different from any other ones. The story is sound, the casting of leads is solid, its like they were born for this role, their chemistry is flawless. Many times a woman is written as 'bold' in dramas but dresses timid-cute, breaks character due to poor story writing, but not the case here. FL Cecilia or Su Jin in the drama is a well written character, and she took upon herself to portray it so well. Say what you will, a real drama is carried by the FL not the ML. There are many beautiful locations, and whenever Su Jin came on screen, it is impossible to look else where, she is stunning and all her outfits were a feast to the eyes.The music of the drama is surprisingly good, I found myself searching for the songs on yt. Which is a rare thing for me. The production quality was certainly of higher standard.
Btw I was not a fan of the 2nd couple trope, so that is the only space the drama messed up, but I usually skipped those scenes, you wont be confused even after skipping, as their story is mostly independent. So I can understand why others will rate drama lower due to 2nd couple lol. That does explain the low rating.
Overall, great drama dont miss! I will rewatch for the slow burn of romance blossoming and Cecilia Boey (FL) 's stunning outfits, and such a once in a blue drama moon jaw dropping chemistry of the leads. The are just so in tempo with each other.

Light, easy to watch, full of fun, badass, mature, and cute leads
I like this romcom lighthearted drama and their acting is really good. Nakaka excite yung mga scene nila di boring for me and nakakatawa din hehe.-I love it it's an easy watch, full of fun and no annoying third party for main leads and also second leads.
- I like how they pretty fast solve if there was a misunderstanding
-Gusto ko yung manager nya supportive, attentive, and di boring
-the main leads chemistry is great and the second leads ang cute din nila lalo na kapatid ni Mu xui lun.
-Gusto ko din yung nalaman agad ng male lead identity ng fl para maka iwas sa masayadong misunderstanding
-yung story ng second couple i like it also huhu xiaoman

why watching the Drama?
This drama story have not new something has changed both actress have best cemetery and second lead have funny why romance beat part I like in drama they have no love triangle and funny scene never bored funny scene always entertaining ??that why this drama was watching

Sorry but had to drop it....
I am a big Gao Hanyu fan but unless your favourites are say Top 20 these things happen....1. You have to compromise to mediocre scripts....
2. You will be a lead in a low budget drama.....
which will have limited creativity due to the low budget....
3. Unknown Cast & inexperienced cast....
4. As Male Lead with a decent profile but not major profile you will be given a Female Lead with very low profile....
I have no problems with the acting just the script and story.... Actors did their best which was keeping me watching for 3 episodes but I think honestly given what they had this is as good as they can do.... No way this keeps anyone watching for 30-40 episodes....
Gao Hanyu is still a good actor. I have completed many of his dramas.... Song Yan Fei as Female Lead was ok, no problems with her, she has been in ok dramas in the past just like Gao Hanyu, not a massive profile....
I hope see these 2 again as leads in a drama with a better, more entertaining, more creative story/script....
