First off, something was wrong with this show's acting. It's not that I didn't like it, it was mainly the characters. I am a huge fan of Guan Xiaotong, and I've seen a lot of her dramas. She is a great actress. But the guy who played Rong Xia, I feel like he didn't give enough effort into his character. For one, I could not feel Rong Xia's love for Ban Hua, but I could feel Ban Hua's love for Rong Xia. Because I couldn't feel his love for her, I didn't have any emotions for this show. The fact that at the beginning of the show, Ban Hua started to like Rong Xia, and Rong Xia didn't like her. It appeared out of nowhere, all of a sudden Rong Xia loves Ban Hua, but I cannot feel the love.

Second off, I love Ban Hua's family. She's got 2 servants which are funny and easygoing. She has a mother who treats her well and a father who supports what she does. She has a brother who is funny and just awesome. I would say she has the best family, no one hates each other in her family.

Third, I don't know what in the world is wrong with Shi Feixian. She never loved the second prince but somehow pretends to like him, like it doesn't really make sense to me. Also, the fact that she is very ungrateful. Ban Hua once saved her life, yet she is still so eager to kill her.

The most boring show I've ever seen

This was probably the most boring show I've ever seen, I honestly would have given up halfway on the show if it wasn't for Lian Song and Cheng Yu. I really wanted to give up on the show especially at the part when Feng Jiu got trapped in the A’Lanruo dream. I felt like I was wasting my time looking at a world and stories of characters I don't care about. I don't care about the people in the dreams, I don't know where they come from, or their previous life, and I didn't care. I think the show spends way too much time showing the dream that I really just wanted to give up. I only finished the drama because of Lian Song and Cheng Yu's love. I thought that their love is funny and sweet in a way that made me want to finish the show. The show was so boring to the point where I took like 5 minutes to finish an episode. I've seen better shows than this. Now Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms actually had a good storyline, I understood everything that was going on, I cannot say the same for this show, everything happens out of nowhere, and again the A’Lanruo dream was not necessary at all.

The fact that in Season 1, it was mainly about Bai Qian and Ye Hua but we there were at least in total 10 episodes of Dijun and Feng Jiu which were unnecessary and then in Season 2, there is like 5 minutes of Bai Qian, which is completely messed up because, season 1 is on Bai Qian and Ye Hua, but they had to throw in Feng Jiu and Dijun when Feng Jiu and Dijun have their own love story.

Watching this show reminded me of Ashes of Love, Dance of the Sky Empire, and The Untamed all mixed. The story was great. Although I didn't get the ending or the beginning. I didn't understand why she all of a sudden went into Feng Wu's body and didn't understand why she had to leave at the end. Honestly, I think she could have stayed there. Although the beginning was kind of slow but, Jun Linyuan fell in love with her really fast. Again I have honestly no idea if she even stayed or not, I'm hoping for a season two so I can get an answer.

This is a simple and short show to watch if you don't know what Chinese drama to watch or if your are bored. This drama is also super under rated and needs more attention.

The story line doesn't exactly impress me, but isn't bad. The chemistry between the two leads are really deep and they do a great job acting their roles out.

I love the relationship between Shen Yu and Zhou Yue. I've seen many of Wu Jiayi's drama, and the character she plays as in all of her shows make her a lovable character and makes the show much more interesting. This is the first appearance Xie Binbin had made to me and I gotta say, I’m left shocked and will check out some of his other dramas. The male leads expressions and acting skills really make it the cherry on top of this show.

As for Zhou Yue, the female dressing as male looks really good. Especially in other dramas, when the female lead dresses as a male but doesn’t look like a ale at all, Zhou Yue was able to pull that off. She looks good in both female and male appearance.

I only have an issue with the costuming, um I feel like this show didn't have a high budget, because the hairstyle, costuming, props, and background doesn't impress me and I've honestly seen better.

The ost is awesome, the song is god and sad, and the background music is also great. There was a couple of confusing parts, that I didn't understand but it wasn't that big of a problem. 10/10, a sweet and simple drama.

SPOILER:
The biggest thing that made me mad is the wedding between Zhou Yihui and Qi Zhang. Why was her wedding dress blue? Because when it comes to traditional weddings, they're either white, green, or red. And the bride and groom always have a matching outfit and style. Why was Zhou Yihui's dress completely blue and Qi Zhang's was red? That made no sense to me at all.

I originally didn’t really want to watch this drama but after watching the first season, I really don’t regret watching it. This is the kind of drama where you have a super handsome and fearless general who secretly admires someone and is always there behind her making sure she’s safe. I think the way Wu Lei plays Ling Buyi is honestly perfect and I love how he holds power yet can be so gentle sometimes.

The only issue about this I don’t really like the costumes and hairstyles. They honestly could have done something better with it. I also have no idea which dynasty this is from on the way they word some phrases.

Love Ling Buyi’s character and I’m honestly so envious on their love, sadly season one doesn’t have much scenes with the main leads hoping season 2 will.

Alright, so they story isn't that bad after all. It's a decent quick drama. The show happens fast. Zhuosheng Chen accepts Shiyi as his disciple which is funny because in most dramas I've seen the master usually teaches the disciple something like martial arts, or calligraphy and literature, but as a master he doesn't really teach her anything. Another huge thing to point our is that anyone could have literally seen that Shiyi had a huge crush on her master, like she would always cling on to him.

Something that made me really mad was there was no plot point. Like in the whole show it was just, Nanchen army is indesctrable, like norther army could take it down, then there was this marriage where Shiyi had to marry someone she didn't like, and in the whole story there really wasn't like a climax. I also didn't really like Shiyi's behavior or personality, like she's very stubborn, she likes her master and her arranged marriage is Liu Zixing but she literally doesn't care, like she kinda needs to know that other people's feeling matter. Like that's her fiancé she shouldn't be pushing him away, unless it wasn't her fiancé.

This show was filled with love, hate, betrayal, action, comedy, and fun.

I didn't really know what I was expecting except I just knew that this drama was a historical fantasy drama with 2 very big stars. I wouldn't say I'm too disappointed with what I got, but there was a lot of areas which were really confusing or made me mad that just didn't belong or make sense in the show at all.

ROLES: To start off, I'm rating this a 9,5 only because Bai Lu and Leo Yunxi starred together as the main leads, I love those 2 and if it weren't for them my rating would have dropped to a 9.0. The chemistry between the 2 leads are really cute but it's not only them, I also really liked Pian Ran and Ye Bingchang's story. I think everyone did great with their acting and the roles were suitable for every character.

COSTUMES: The costumes were great, my only issue is Pian Ran only had 2 outfits the entire show which made me felt like the crew only put all their focus on the main leads and didn't care about anyone else. I also have issues with Ye Xiwu wearing her hairpins , shoes, and outer clothing to bed. In most historical Chinese dramas, when you go to bed, you're supposed to take off the outer layer.

MUSIC: I just want to say they had way too much music for this drama. I honestly think that a drama really only needs 2 or 3 good catchy songs. Especially the same sad songs for those sad crying scenes. Instead we got a handful of a bunch of music which every sad scene had a different song and it made me feel confused so I didn't cry a lot in this drama as I should have.

STORY: The first 30 episodes are really good. The entire story with Ye Xiwu and Tan Taijin really captures my attention and motives me to continue watching. Not gonna lie, even in the Bo're dream, the entire Sang Jiu and Ming Ye dream was also really good and it made me really interested. However, when it came to the the immortal realm, I feel like things kind of take a turn. The story goes down hill and isn't as good as the previous "lives".

OVERALL: There are still lots of confusing stuff for me but I'm not even going to bother. My biggest question that makes me mad the most is: I understand TTJ is the "demon fetus" but he is still a human, he is in a human body. So someone explain to me, how and why he can obtain powers when YXW can't even do that in her mortal body, and why TTJ can live over 500 years even though he is a mortal. I understand why Li Susu can but not him.

To be honest the show isn't really worth it. I was really excited to watch this show hoping that it was more with the fighting side and martial arts of Jiang Hu. However I'd say that like the first 7 episodes actually met that requirement, the first few episodes actually get you hooked into watching it.

Later on you figure out who Hei Fengxi's real identity is, and from that point on it just kept bringing up court affairs and one episode took about 10 minutes to watch for me, it was more like one episode was 75% about court affairs and they rest of it was about Bai Fengxi and Hei Fengxi.

Gotta say the best thing about this drama is the costume, I think the way Yang Yang is dressed as Hei Fengxi instead of Feng Lanxi (his prince side) is way better and same thing with Bai Fengxi. The cast was also great and same with the music. I think it was really the court affairs that made the show only an 8.0 stars. I am disappointed that most of it wasn't really related to the martial arts side of Jiang Hu.

There were lots of boring parts. This whole show had something to do with the zodiac signs, which kind of made no sense to me. The king is honestly not even a king to me. I don't know how to explain it. A typical king makes decisions on the country, and is very strict, and just stays in his room or the courtroom. Where ever the king goes, there are a least 10 servants following him. In this show, I feel like he isn't a king. No one is following him, and Feifei's behavior towards him is not what a king should be treated like. She calls him names, yet the king doesn't care, nor do any of the servants. I mainly watched this show for Xiao Zhan. Not gonna lie in episode one, the servants were right. They said that the king isn't as good-looking as Lord Chen (Xiao Zhan) very true. I don't really recommend this show as there were a lot of boring parts and things I didn't even understand.

I would like to say that this is a very good show. I guess you can call this the afterlife of Han Yunxi. I honestly really liked An Wang for some reason. I wanted Fu Rong and An Wang to end together, I mean she had Su Wang in the previous life. Some of the show's settings were very similar from other shows. I didn't really get the ending, she got stabbed by An Wang, and then somehow got struck by lightning and came back to life. I thought that the Xihe Princess was actually a good person, I didn't like her at the beginning but she has a kind heart sometimes. There are also a lot of similar faces, the people who acted in Han Yunxi, a lot of them also acted in this show. I liked the ending though, where she said "if there's a next life, I want to be your lover again", the same line she said in Legend of Yunxi after she stabbed herself. If only there are so many afterlives for her to be his wife again, I feel like a season 3 is going to come out.

Not the drama I was anticipating for. I've seen better fantasy dramas, I would just like to state that the entire show is a little confusing when Feng Yin comes back. We all know that A Yin is Feng Yin, and when Feng Yin comes back, she wants nothing to do with Yuan Qi, but she makes it very obvious that she is A Yin.

Hua Shu isn't any better, the one time she decides to wear red also happens the one time that she's at the Phoenix realm where everyone else wears red. Like I understand that was meant to be the reason for the plot but it's also just ironic.

The story is not as good as it looks, and near the end, I just wanted to finish the drama as fast as I could. Even Ao Ge and Xiu Yan's story was confusing.

Personally, I really enjoyed this show. I think this show does a really good job in bringing the fantasy part to life. The characters were all really unique and the plot of the story line was simple and very understandable.

The costuming for the female lead was a little strange, she didn't have any pants on for some reason. And I don't think that the director really cared about the side characters because they all only have like one outfit that they constantly wear throughout the entire show.

Another issue that I had in this show was Qi Pa's character. To start off, she has a really strange and weird name. Not only that but I didn't really like her character. She expects Kui Mulang to do all the work in chasing her and pursuing her and making her feel happy. Even when she was at fault, she still expected him to come see her. Personally if their love is mutual then she needs to put in some work and effort.

The typical modern day drama. The poor female lead, and the rich CEO, an arrange marriage. Typical stuff like that. Very simple and plain. The cast was great. Really appreciate the choosing for the male lead. The clothing could have been better, like we only see Yin Sichen wear suits in the show, you rarely see him wear other type of clothing besides suits or pajamas. As for Gu Xixi, she has a small closet. There’s probably like 10 shirts in there, you see her wear slot of the same shirts over and over again in the show.

Again like the love triangle, where the evil second female lead does things to sabotage the female lead. Don’t know what happened to Mo Zitian, he kinda just disappeared after Xixi said she didn’t have feelings for him. Overall not bad, short drama.

So at first when this movie came out I couldn’t find where to watch it, so that was the only big issue and. Ow I’m writing this review like a year late. So basically the movie was great, good cast, and costuming. They could have done b enter with setting, and backgrounds.

Honestly really impressed by Dylan Sprouse, I believe he actually spoke Chinese the entire movie, which might have took him some time to learn, really appreciate that, again Guan Xiaotong did an amazing job as usual on acting, really liked her cold icy version of the princess, and would like to state that when she was the “evil” princess, her makeup was something I’ve honestly seen on Guan Xiaotong for the first time, so a big change.

Other than that, good plot, and story was pretty good. Here’s the link to watch it:

The show was very good overall. Loved the costumes and sets. The show was a bit confusing but the love in this show was very strong and I really liked that. I love Ji Yunhe’s character, she has a really special personality, in which she is very clever. Chang It’s character was also very lovable but the only thing I didn’t;t like about it was the fact that it took him a while to open up to the people at Wanhua Valley, but later on in the show he kinda just opens up to everyone and talks to them.

The beginning was very boring, especially the first episode. I think it’s better to start near the end of episode one where things start getting interesting. Really liked the show also pretty sad!
