Short and binged worthy suspenseful drama to watch, especially the acting skill of ML.
Dear Liar is a short web suspenseful drama about a husband who lies, is manipulative and leaves many broken hearts until he meets his wife, Song Yi Fei.I first watched Fan Zhi Xin in "My Lethal Man" and thought he did an awesome job and had great potential to be a good actor. He did not disappoint me in Dear Liar.
The actress Qu Meng Ru who played his wife, Song Yi Fei, did a good job, and the supporting cast is also decent.
Each episode is about 10 minutes, and I binged watch the entire drama (27 episodes) in one sitting. I enjoyed it and look forward to Fan Zhi Xin's future dramas.
I am giving it a 7.5 rating.

Must watch if you like romance thrillers with physiological twist
I loved it totally!Started watching because of ml lead in lethal man is amazing but saw his acting here which is even more crazy good.
I started watching without knowing the synopsis or summary which made me hooked to check what was the story building for at beginning when she gets married and things looks suspicious yet good.
But when things start to very suspense especially when fl goes confused yet she is so well manipulated by the ml lead to think straight shows her beautiful acting.
Not gonna spoil much suspense lol., but I loved how things started to make sense slowly yet the left the story as open end by letting the ml to become desperate yet fighting himself from present and past.
This drama could have been shown even better but sadly I understand they had great scripts and actors but less budget I guess 10min per episode was less.
There was the elder sister family story part which felt u necessary. But did appreciate how 2 sisters united to save their little sister.
Overall you can watch it maybe skip some parts out of curiosity and the sound effects of making it look suspicious rest all flow was good too

Not bad…
I usually don’t watch the type of dramas that get the adrenaline going. This one got it going but not all that much. I was wanting to skip to the end just to see what happened but I actually watched the entire mini drama without skipping. Which is rare for me.Storyline - was not all that bad. It did need some work. But what drama doesn’t? It was well done by the actors. It kept me on edge and wanting to see if the ML was really good or really bad lol. I wish it was the former. I was rooting for him to really be a good guy but sad to say he was not. It had a not to bad ending. It is more of a suspense but a good one. I did like it all in all.
Actin/Cast - I thought they did great. ML… I loved him in “My Lethal Man.” He was a good actor in it and he was also a good sociopath in this one. He made me want to believe he really was good. Kind of like the husband in “Flower of Evil”. He is fast becoming one of my favorite ML. The rest of the cast was good. There were some parts that bugged me about the sisters. I can not decide if it was the script or their acting that I had issues with.
Rewatch - it really is not my type or show. I am more of a romantic than suspense and so on. But I Might watch it again down the road. Just watch it once to gain your own opinion.

FIRST TIME WATCHING CDRAMA THAT IS NOT CORNY!
I LOVE THIS CDRAMA!I am not familiar with the actors in this drama.
I am clapping my hands for the actors.
Their acting is soo good.
- The acting is outstanding. I can feel the actor's emotions.
- Interesting story.
- Not boring.
- No too many fillers.
- Not cringy
One of my issues is the character's outfits. Lol ?
They wear clothes repeatedly.
One of the reasons I stop watching cdrama is because their drama is so corny and cringe with bad acting, bad dubbing, and too many unnecessary clips.

Dear liar is a Chinese thriller, psychological and romance drama. It is in China and famous people play main and support roles like Fan Zhi xin and Qu Meng ru .After months of preparation, Song Yifei and Qun Lin finally held their wedding ceremony. Although Yifei is taking cate of her family and her husband and she is naive, trustworthy and innocent, she discovers that all her perfect life and her wedding are big lies. In addition, a strange man called Zheng Bao Song appeared at her wedding ceremony and keeps appearing in her life threatening her husband Qin lin and making problems.
Dear liar is a psychological and romantic thriller full of imagination and some scenes can described as adventurous. The plot has lots of unexpected twists with both romantic and scary moments. The cast and the osts-music which is used are both excellent and talented. To conclude, the directing was amazing and realistic.
This thriller is well worth seeing. I suggest it to everyone. The story-plot is utterly clever and will keep you entertained right to the end. It's a must see!

Interesting
First, I love the mystery components of the series. It played out well.Series revolves around a woman and her husband. She married him without knowing he was a man that wanted a model wife, and that he was manipulative.
On another note, it’s definitely exaggerated. From what I saw he didn’t actually commit a crime other than a fake attack. Why they called the police is beyond me. The series want us to assume that a man that wanted a woman who had more and was more wife material, is criminal. He didn’t appear to be a gold digger. He did however show controlling and manipulative habits (still not a crime). He dumped a woman b/c he thought he found something better. She didn’t take it well. Still not a crime. Maybe he was serial dater. Didn’t see that either! Women have done what he did but no one call in the police troops.
I did find the way that the woman was easily manipulated into obedience interesting. I believe that it fits into how things happen to some people in real life.
Needless to say, I don’t get it. It was interesting to watch though ??♀️

Fantastic Fan Zhi Li
I hope that sooner or later they give this actor a noteworthy plot. At 23 years old Fan Zhi Yi has remarkable interpretative skills, especially in roles of action, narcissism and decision-making. The drama of his characters is unique. The story is short and unconstructed. The character Yi Fei is not at all free from guilt. Li Quin is guilty. He's a character who manipulates, but it all comes from the social contrast he comes from.They are victims of each other. One of the sisters is terrible.Was this review helpful to you?

Women who fall for lies should watch this.
Qin Li and his sister were scammers, and he was a psychopathic liar, verbally abusive husband, very toxic and very convincing role for Fan Zhi Xin, he kept me on the edge and terrified for his wife. Sad ending for him but I'm glad the wife got away from him safely. Lesson learned 'never stay in abusive relationship.'Not my favorite genre but watched it for Fan Zhi Xin, bravo performance. I really liked him in My Lethal Man. Hoping he will have more swoon worthy romantic roles to come in his next drama.
Kudos to everyone involved in making this drama.

Woah...
I'm here mostly for the ML after binge watching the entire My lethal man drama. I have seen his other dramas but i can't believe how GOOD he is at acting like the villain. Not only is he good looking and tall. He is also a great actor and can't wait to see more of his dramas. Too bad each episode are only 10 minutes. Hope his character change for good because i don't approve of any kind of violence doesn't matter if it's physical or mental!!!The FL is pretty good too, but i don't really like the character. If you noticed something is off about your lover , ask for help! Don't EVER let anyone treat you like you're less than you are. Don't ignore those red flags!
