Unbreakable bond and dangerous trial

As expected, there's yet another obstacle why the Fragrance Bond couldn't be broken — the feelings between the bonded are too strong and mutual. And we know who those two are — Lifei and Xiuyuan. However, Prince Tangzhou looked rather jealous of that reason why the bond can't be broken. And to ensure the growing suspicion, he confirmed to Lenya that he likes Lifei. 👆😔But, oh boy, those masters of the Academy! To make the trial so dangerous? Of course it would reveal everyone's true character at such a moment of crisis... But what if any of them had died? 😯At least we saw how worried Lifei was when Xiuyuan sacrificed himself so she and Prince Tangzhou could finish that spell... The feelings are all there, but she still needs time, which was perfectly shown by how her attitude towards Xiuyuan changed once he was ok again. 🙂

The main trio tried to break the artefact bond that binds them, but even though they fell apart with Xiuyuan and Lifei wants to soon part ways with the two boys, noone is not truly willing to erase each other from their hearts. And this is how our students go through a little timeskip! Judging by the scenery, just fast forwarding through the winter, they still know each other for less than a year. During this time the broken relationship was not mended, but through the academy's graduation trial we'll see that Lifei still cares, and Xiuyuan is even more devoted to become stronger to protect her, even from himself. The story is getting ready for the next buildup! Lifei is desperate to enter Wuyue sect to find her shixiong, Xiuyuan is desperate to follow her no matter what, and the Prince desperately asked her to walk the same path as he does, but was blatantly rejected! Doesn't look like he's given up though, so love triangle is still looming over this trio. This episode marks one third of the drama, and so far it keeps a stable pace, moves the plot and develops the characters.
