Stars Edward Chen. I started watching The First Frost and wanted to rewatch Lesson in Love where I fell in love with Edward Chen. In The First Frost he is a supporting character and not as good of a role for him, but, still I got to see him.

Genius Girlfriend and The First Frost aren’t similar in a literal sense, but there are certain elements that remind me of one another.

Lin Ze Qiu and Lin Zhi Xia’s sibling dynamic reminds me of Sang Yan and Sang Zhi. Meanwhile, Lin Ze Qiu and Jin Bai Hui’s relationship reminds me of Sang Yan and Wen Yi Fan’s, except that it feels more realistic.

While watching The First Frost, seeing the female lead bottle up her sadness and carry the weight of a rough past — believing she doesn’t deserve happiness and instinctively rejecting any that comes her way — you may find yourself feeling a deep urge to just be with her, to tell her that everything will be okay.
And that is what hooked me into watching The First Frost
And if that feeling resonates with you, you’re likely to experience the same emotional connection with the female lead in Marriage Contract.

To be frank, of all the dramas that I had seen before watching The First Frost, I could not get the above-mentioned emotions that got invoked while watching Marriage Contract and boy , I am satisfied to see The First Frost.

I don't why this show so low rated. It's really good one. I recommend this because it bit of similar to the first frost. ML seriously love with FL and chasing till end with true love. As well as they have cute childhood scenes. Only difference FL is older than ML lead. Buts it has mostly realistic scenes are their. In my opinion it definitely deserves 8.7+ rating. Good show it is.
