Inspector Totsugawa challenges a large-scale difficult case that incorporates the theme of the dignity of life into a drama. It turns out that a professor at the university's medical school was killed and the professor once secretly performed AID (Artificial Insemination Donor). AID is a couple who cannot have children and gives birth by receiving sperm from another person, which is not illegal but has various problems. Along with solving the mystery of the case, the importance of life and the depth of the bond between parents and children are depicted.
