Stealer: The Treasure Keeper (2023)

Stealer has some serious Iljimae vibes. Stealer is set in the modern day, and MC isnt quite doing what they do to protect people, but to protect cultural heritage from the ultra wealthy.

Both have a hidden identity that they use to perform their feats
Both have a public identity that is viewed by others as a failure, delinquent, or otherwise undesirable.

Im telling you, if you liked iljimae for the all around feeling of iljimae, you'll probably like Stealer

Goofy in fun way but the silliness doesn't interfere too much with the amazing action scenes. plot only kind of similar but it does keep you on your toes!

-Both dramas have same vibes: Funny, not too serious, more like a comfort movies, easy to watch
-Teamwork, case solving, action, police female leads etc.
-In both series, the MLs are not police officers, but they start working with the police.
-The MLs in both series are not too serious or cold.
-In both series FLs are judgmental towards male leads at first but in Stealer it is kind of cute and comedic.
-There are several cases in both series.
-In Flex Cop there are cases of murder, in Stealer cases of smuggling antiquities are main focus as well as murdering.

This is drama is based off the American version of Leverage. It consists of a team who rights the wrong doings of innocent victims and go after bad guys who wronged the victims.

Both dramas have leads working in CHA. The plots revolve around Korea's cultural assets and feature the country's cultural heritage as the backdrop.

Hwang Dae Myeong's personality is very similar to Go Seung-Tak ! I enjoyed watching both, and I couldn't help connecting it to Ghost Doctor even though it may seem like they have nothing in common.

a trickster thief who is stealing to take down a bad guy. who makes a fool of the police

the main lead is chased by the police. his identity is hidden by a mask every time he is on a job.

both deal with artefacts identifying which are real and which are fake. they also both have an investigation incorporated into the show
