It's not the best thing I have ever watched, but I enjoyed the first four episodes. Winwin's acting is solid for his acting debut, his character is very intellectual and loves to read books and watch movies like Winwin himself; there are so many similarities between them. I was thinking of waiting until the last episode to drop a review, but some losers opened accounts for attention. It's not a top-tier drama, but I will advise you because it's different from any recent drama, but if the age gap genre isn't for you not highly recommended. Was this review helpful to you?

Ep 1 is a great start for the story line

Yanyue is a solitary guy, don't talk much but he has a kind heart, we don't know much about him but we will in the next episodes.
Anran is the sunshine personality on the outside but she is trying her best to not fail, i love her character.
Their relationship starts in such an awkward and different way from other love story but i love it, drunk anran was so funny and yanyue was so kind helping her, can't wait to see their relationship grow with them

Storyline is eh
I gave this drama a go bc of the ‘high’ ratings…but find the storyline lacking and the leads’ chemistry unconvincing. The leads look super young despite the age gap the characters portrayed. They could play high school kids vs young professionals.Is China really lacking quality actors/actress that anyone could play leads? The casting is not suiting at all.
Can’t go through with it after ep 3. I really tried but the drama is just too hard to enjoy. I can’t find anything likable for this drama.

Not for me
I am dropping this show after watching just 4 episodes because I gave this a go as my friend really likes the ml but tbh I just couldn’t get into the show! Shows with idols usually aren’t my favourite anyways, but my friend really likes this idol I decided to be as unbiased as possible when watching it. However for me the age gap is off putting to me and the actors lacked any real chemistry (which in my opinion has less to do with their obvious age gap and more the performance from both actors)! The music was ok, and the cinematography is really nice it’s just the acting and story that isn’t really to my taste, however I can see people who like the ml liking it for him.Was this review helpful to you?

"Sweet Games" is a modern RomCom drama about the relationship between an older woman and a younger man, which has been done too often in Cdrama.The Synopsis: Nine years ago, An Ran was a senior at university. Beautiful and popular, her college junior Yan Yue was just one of many young men who had a crush on her. Almost a decade later, An Ran has become a career-driven entrepreneur. She dreams of rising to the top of the business world. One night, she gets drunk and stumbles into a "romantic" evening with her landlord – unaware that he is actually her college junior who has had feelings for her for years! Yan Yue is secretly a very successful voice actor. As destiny would have it, he is also a partner on a new project An Ran is about to start work on.
I watched 3 episodes and am dropping it because the acting, onscreen chemistry of the main CP, and quality production were so bad. I give it a 3.0 rating.

Not something i enjoy
The age gap is kinda gross and weirds me out tbh . Not something that i'm interested in. Overall the show is boring and adds nothing new or interesting for the chinese drama genre . I watch most of my dramas on netflix though and they seem to have a higher budget and that might be why im just not feeling this one too . Gonna skip the rest of this one . But you should give it a go if you like young boys with much older women ! Again not something im particularly interested in and im gonna stick to the professional ones on netflix for now .Was this review helpful to you?
No acting skills and overall a waste of time
Would give it zero if i could . I try to watch every cdrama that comes out and because i didnt really know either of these actors i was intrigued ! However i will not be watching any more . Its boring dull and the actors are barely acting ! The female lead is unnerving and unpleasing . Whereas the male lead is dead , he is like a corspe and seeing him look so uninterested and if he shows any emotions , uncomfortable, makes me feel uneasy . It feels like the main lead didnt want to be there at all and has no acting experience. I hope he goes back to acting school before i see him again because he ruined this show and i dont want him to ruin any more . I think the female lead might be better in another role but this one was really off putting. Save your time and watch something elseWas this review helpful to you?
