A documentary by Otsu Koshiro, cinematographer of Summer in Narita that depicted the struggle against the construction of Narita Airport. In addition to extensive archive footage, Otsu includes new images shot in Narita for the first time in forty-five years, in order to convey the present situations of the people involved in the protest movement. The farmers of Sanrizuka in Chiba Prefecture had their fields and homes arbitrarily taken from them for the construction of Narita Airport. The fierce protest movement, in which the farmers were joined by students and young laborers, was representative of Japan in the 1960s and 1970s. Around half a century later, what do the people of Sanrizuka think of it? (Source: JFDB) ~~ Release dates: Oct 9, 2014 (Festival) || Nov 22, 2014 (Cinema) Edit Translation
