A bittersweet drama that shines a light on the darkness in Japanese society. It depicts a romance between a man and woman who are bound by family ties and struggle on the outskirts of a major city. Sanji lives with his mentally ill mother and leads an aimless existence while working as a drug courier. One day he meets Yoko, a woman dealing with her shut-in younger sister, and mistakenly hands her a bag filled with drugs after presuming she is a customer.
