An upgraded cyborg in the mould of a real human female is ordered back to its HQ for further development. Efforts to bring this batch of new cyborgs into full consciousness proved futile until one model, X7, ran into her new R&D superior, Jack, who looked identical to someone she knew. The facial recognition triggers back memories dating back to her life more than 60 years ago, subsequently throwing her back into consciousness.
