Is music really only to hear? Melodies and rhythms created by the hands, faces, and bodies? can these also be classed as "music"? This is an excerpt from an experimental visual poem　that is an antithesis to the idea of “music is to hear” and that tries to picture the “music” that Japanese Deaf people created in silence. “Four Seasons” by an elderly man composed using American Sign Language and a sign language poem that his mother told him, a group dance resonating with improvisation, a woman’s song exposing her soul….
