It's Not Supposed To Be Funny, But...
My expectations begun in the basement level so there was literally no way for this show to disappoint me without first going to hell. The first episode is so rushed I found myself laughing at nearly everything, even now, just after finishing it, I'm still giggling even though the entire episode is meant to be serious. (Especially when Tai appears at the gallery acting like a two bit villain, I nearly died laughing). The lines so far have been exclusively read, not acted, but I always give episode one all the grace I have to spare (and then some when two episodes are released at the same time because obviously, episode one cant stand on its own) so I'll decide on that next week. I hate, hate, HATE being told over being shown and, to me, a montage is exactly that: telling. Montaging the relationship with a main character is wild because it is instantly unbelievable. I just met this motherfucker twenty minutes ago. KRAM just met him twenty minutes ago. And you want me to believe they have deep feelings? Matter of fact, back up, whyre they kissing?? I wish I could insert a picture of my face for that entire section of the episode because it'd say the million words I have much more succintly.Also the plot??? "If the man who just tried to kill you and has guns (but also chose to use a knife because.....uh, because, i guess) comes back (read: and you survive) I MIGHT have to hire a bodyguard"???? Wild lmao. And then: "hey you just tried to kill me but I just gotta know why, do you per chance have a remote location where we can meet. A warehouse? That's perfect, on my way!" Bro, I was CRYING laughing because they read the lines almost monotone and the lines themselves werenso, so dumb good lord. If I keep both my expectations and standards on the floor, this is a comedy, and I'm loving it.
I could quote so many lines from these two episodes alone, but I'll just do one more and let it be:
Tai: who do i look like?
Kram: tai, son of por
Tai: yes i am he
Kram: but tai has scar on face
Tai: idc i am not he
You cannot tell me this is not a comedy. Or, you could but I have timestamps to prove otherwise. Tbh, i did actually want to see MaxNat in something good because I couldnt get past a few episodes in Cutie Pie or Naughty Babe, but the synopsis for this one killed that dream and now the show itself is beating the dead horse.
I wish I hadnt said no more quotes because Im sobbing this is so funny. One of my housemates came downstairs to check on me and thought I was sad crying but i cant breathe its so funny. I think what really gets me is the utter lack of emotion in literally any line mixed with the plot moving at mach speed but somehow also being empty. I usually wait for 3 - 5 episodes to review but this is such a trip I'll just do it now: I absolutely recommend this. Just dont take it seriously and youll have a blast.
Ill probably updaye this review as I go along since this is one of the few new shows I dont see myself dropping by episode five lol.

Very good
It is very good overall. I love how the music is it makes me feel sleepy haha. I also think that the acting was really good and to be honest Max looked really handsome in some parts of the series. I cried a lot because of feeling connected to the characters in some parts. The thing I don't like though is when there is like a lot of conflict in it which was one of the reasons I cried a lot watching this series but it was so good overall to be honest. I wouldn't rewatch it again but maybe if I was feeling it but overall pretty good.Was this review helpful to you?
Isso... foi uma jornada. Embora esta série seja definitivamente o melhor dos projetos de MaxNat até o momento, ela teve sua cota de problemas (as opções de edição são totalmente desconcertantes). No entanto, gostei de visitar este conto todas as semanas e havia uma espécie de magia na qualidade assíncrona da produção de episódio para episódio. iQIYI, como sempre, tem as piores traduções, o que também prejudica a série, mas com bastante familiaridade com o tailandês e/ou verificando as traduções dos fãs, certamente há poesia no roteiro, de vez em quando.
Deveria ter dado mais ênfase ao casal secundário, tempo teve, mas acredito que esta falha se por conta do roteiro.
Vale pelo menos um tempo, apesar de suas muitas falhas.

Amo tanto MaxNat, e queria ter amado a história... mas não deu.
Sabe quando você entra num BL com o coração aberto, esperando ser arrebatada, principalmente porque o elenco é de gente que você já ama de carteirinha? Pois é. Two Worlds foi isso pra mim. Eu fui pelo MaxNat. De novo. E fui feliz, pronta pra sofrer, amar, gritar e terminar o último episódio com aquele sorriso bobo. Mas o que eu encontrei foi... uma viagem.Literalmente uma viagem. Entre mundos. Com sangue, mortes, mistérios e um roteiro que parecia mais perdido do que os personagens. A ideia era boa. Um cara perde o namorado, cai num mundo paralelo, reencontra um antigo amor que teve lá no passado, vidas passadas, karma, tudo isso. Só que a execução... meu Deus. A execução.
E aqui entra minha indignação: o personagem do Nat basicamente voltou "só" pra "matar" o personagem do Max no outro mundo. Não literalmente, claro. Mas a situação em si, Sério? É isso que o destino resolveu entregar? Eu ainda estou digerindo isso com um certo amargor. Era essa a missão espiritual? Se era pra doer, tudo bem, mas precisava ser tão vazio emocionalmente? Faltou profundidade. Faltou senso. Faltou coração.
O Max, como sempre, entrega tudo. Ele sofre bonito, sofre com alma. Tem olhares dele que dizem mais que páginas de roteiro. Já o Nat... olha, eu queria muito defender. Mas não dá pra fingir que ele segurou o papel. Em várias cenas parecia que ele tava mais confuso que o espectador. Ele melhora nas cenas de intimidade, parece mais solto, mais crível. Mas no drama mesmo, no peso da história, ficou devendo.
Curiosamente, o casal secundário foi o que mais me prendeu. Jao e Wayu têm química, têm propósito, têm desenvolvimento. É triste quando os coadjuvantes fazem mais pelo meu emocional do que o par principal.
A edição é confusa, os cortes são bruscos, e o roteiro se perde tanto que eu comecei a achar que era proposital. Algumas cenas de ação são exageradas, quase violentas demais. E teria sido algo bom, se o roteiro fosse também bom. A trilha sonora tenta dar um clima, mas sozinha não carrega a história.
No fim, Two Worlds não é um desastre. Mas também não é aquela obra que eu vou revisitar com carinho. Foi uma experiência frustrante porque eu queria muito gostar. Queria dizer que foi perfeito só pelo amor que tenho pelo elenco. Mas amar os atores não é o suficiente quando a história não me dá nada sólido pra me apegar.
Assisti até o fim por teimosia e um pouco de fé. Terminei com um suspiro, não de emoção, mas de cansaço. Pra quem ama MaxNat, talvez ainda valha a pena. Mas vá com o coração blindado e expectativas no modo avião. Porque o que veio nesse drama não era o que esse casal merecia, eles mereciam bem mais.

10/10 ones alive will disappear, dead be evoked....Official pilot, released a year ago, brewed curiosity about this savory plot despite my doubts upon the cast's emoting ability. I have seen a similar kiss before but, regrettably, can't recollect the details. Believe me, upon watching, the narrative siphons you into it's premise. This one is definitely a more estimable series than those with the same title in the past. Every frame is earnestly conceived with beautiful locations, emotional background score ('Too late' by BOY Somphob), optimum amounts of lamo' and presumable events down the plot. Piano notes for intimate scenes misted an imagery of warm sun rays breaking through a window into a dark room. P'Anurak and his team deserve an applause for those sensuous canvas portraits.
Unexpectedly, I found this ruby polished by Khun Pimphat Chutrakul. Every logue had purpose. Extreme heroism portrayed stole my heart the same. 'Por' shoving bullets into his boss's son, 'Chat' licking the sword, 'Satreejit' wiping
'Chanda's blood off the knife, 'Jao' falling into boar trap and
'Phupha's dead body being dragged to hang, suai mak jing jing. P'Pra has proven the might of his pen once again.
