At the end of the Yi Dynasty, Ar master's only daughter, Suk Hyang visits Jung Dong master's house secretly. He lets her stay in his house after hearing her current status. In spite of his dissuasion, his only son Young Beom returns from overseas study and tries to participate in the anti-Japanese resistance. In no time Young Beom falls in love with Suk Hyang, and Yoon Yoon, who was raped by Hak Jin, informs the fact to her older brother Hyeon Su. Suk Hyang drives out Hak Jin who secretly hides into her room, but she is falsely accused. She thus kills herself.
