It tells the story of Qing Cai, the late king's son, who lives anonymously in a small town to stay away from court disputes until his adoptive father, Han Zhong, gets in touch. To save his adoptive father, he has to disguise himself as a woman and sneak into a small town that only recruits Ming women. In Yishan Village, they met Gan Po, an orphan from Momen who came seeking revenge, as well as Wang Yi Shao, Han Ai Zhen, Gao Gao, each with their own identities and purposes. I loved Pretty Boy.
Pretty Boy is a fun and lighthearted drama with an entertaining story, plenty of funny moments, and a charming mix of comedy and romance. I especially enjoyed the character’s transformation and Darren Chen’s charismatic performance. He looked amazing in the role and once again showed his versatility as an actor.
