horror series with horrible characters
Overall: though I appreciated that they tried something different, its release was clouded by lack of an official international release and delayed episodes. Airing 10 episodes about 45 minutes each on Fix Entertainment's YouTube channel (need a VPN set to Thailand). Here is the first episode part 1 link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sNsxNokJwcContent Warnings: murders, deaths, attempted murder, rape, attempted suicide, torture, blood, gore, jump scares, mental health struggles, kidnapping, gaslighting, sexual assault, coercion, slap, homophobia, non con video recording, manhandling, manipulation
What I Liked
- unique premise
- twists and turns
- intimate scenes were fine (but they were between awful people so I didn't get into them)
Room For Improvement
- many characters were stupid ie telling a murderer that you know what they did
- trope of saw someone hug and thought they were cheating
- trope of extremely drunk and then active participant during sex
- the kid slept way too much (he's 5 so might not be in school, but I've never seen a 5 year old sleep/nap that much)
- really hope there isn't a happily ever after for a certain character because what he did was beyond awful in episode 9
- they never had an international release, made no sense why they geo restricted it to Thailand on YouTube
- that they delayed an episode by a week and then delayed the finale with no word on when it would be released

potential ruined!
it was bad. strong statement I know but it's bad. The story is actually potential and with proper execution it would've been soo good.what I liked:-
- The concept it's actually fresh new and something away from typical bl love story.
-the basic storyline... it was different.
-few acting part not the whole acting of the show.
everything else could've been improved. the 'not airing the last episode internationally' was ridiculous... still no clue about it. the story never differentiate between horror or mental issues element. one character just dies out of no where for merely knowing about an affair and no one's possible giving a damn about it. why was the kid always sleeping like literally all the time... yeah basically it's mostly fuxked up because of the execution.
if it's remade with better production, proper storyline and good actors.. it's a damn good project.

Don't know that much about the series and it's ending but I'll try to let you know what I understood
This kind of genre is new to me but I will say what I felt about it.The storytelling was a little bit confusing at first but after few episodes it make sense about what's going on. Acting that kind of scenes in that way is quite hard and appreciative. For music it was fine with the screen, give the feeling of screen without even watching. About cinematography it's best how it was presented.
I am not saying it's perfect but I can't imagine more than that what I saw.
But some parts were too stupid like saying"I know your secret and I'll reveal it" to the killers and cheaters seems like foolish but I think it's good that way how it's shown. It gave thrills and suspense to viewers.
Those who like dark genres which contains things like horror, supernatural, blood, rape, cheating, suicide, murder and many more like this, will love it. As for bl fans, I think this is new and makes them curious.
As for episode 10, I don't know what happened and why there is no news. It makes me sad but while searching about it I got to know something. I forgot where and who, but I read something about it, don't know it's real or not. But I would like to share it with you to know your opinion about it.
There was a saying like in the end, we'll know that the whole thing is not real what's happening. The things we saw was all in Koon's mind and Koon is that child who has some mental issues since the start.
And the other one is that Koon is in coma from the day his brother and sister-in-law died and all of that is his imagination.
I don't know what is right but I assume that there's some truth in these saying so I think that Koon has some mental illness and his mind is making things like that.
Sorry, I can't remember all. There was a whole story and reasons but I can't remember other things, what I remembered I said to you.
I hope that someday I can see or read the whole story.
Thanks to crew and actors to introduce me to this genre. I realised that this world can be worse sometimes, more than we think but still there is some light and energy which will help us, just like Qatar or like Koon's nephew. And all thing is to have a reason to live and move forward in the end.
Thank you so much and sorry if I said something wrong.

Warning: There is no ending
Since MDL changed it to a 9 episode max series as there is no news about the 10th episode, Im moving on from it. At this point, we're probably not going to get an end. Im not fond of the show anyway. I was only waiting for the finale release as a completionist to finish the story. As for the story, main character Khun is being manipulated by his cheating boyfriend Tao who has an affair with their next door neighbor Vit. Khun suffers from trauma in his past that seeps into the present and distorts his reality. He doesnt know what is real or what is an illusion. Is the affair really happening? Is it all in his head? But, it seems so real and he feels certain he is being gaslit. Right? But then what about the blood and the deaths from those around him? Regardless he must be there for his nephew and continue on.
I only was interested in watching this series because of Fluke. I enjoyed his other series, My Ride. But, the writing made it hard to sympathize with him at all. As he is an unreliable character, if the memory of his past is true, he has done things that is completely irredeemable especially to what he did to his sister-in-law despite how evil she is too. For that reason, I cant like his character at all. And the story unfolds as if you're supposed to want to sympathize with him but, he's not without fault himself.
Also the depiction of Khun's destructive episodes is wild at times. I distinctly remember a scene where he was having one and throwing things around the room and he threw his body in like a perfectly tucked somersault rolling across the bed to reach to the other side to continue the distruction. It was so wildly unbelievable. It threw me off so much because it looked so practiced and choreographed when the scene is supposed to show unbridled emotion and fear.
Also, Khun's nephew is very important to him and he takes responsibility for raising his nephew since the parents (his brother and sister-in-law) died. Yet this kid who is supposed to be the center of his universe and the purpose to live is very much treated like an accessory this entire show. Khun fears anything happening to his nephew and repeatedly loses track of the kid. He fears that the ghosts of his brother and SIL are going to kidnap the child. The kid is usually just sleeping. He doesnt talk much and only really show up in those instances. Seriously, he's not depicted as a real character. He's only shown to amplify Khun's illusions and desperation to gain sympathy and to remind us he has stakes.
Even if the 10th episode did release, it wouldnt have changed my opinion of the series. Nothing would have made me like it. Though I do feel bad for those who did enjoy it and waited months and months for no conclusion to the story. That isnt right especially with no further updates even after actors jumped ship to sign with other companies.

Uhh, so.. are we getting the last episode?
This BL series was something different. I was TOTALLY shocked by every episode. I loved the drama. I loved the fact that everyone was evil. I loved that we didn’t know if the things were happening in real life, or if they were just in Koon’s sick mind…I was really glad that my country was „chosen“ by The Whisperer team and I could watch it on YouTube without VPN. Others weren't that lucky, tho. That's really bad if you want to get views (and money). So maybe don't do that. Anyway. I’m glad they weren’t afraid to do something else. Lately, a lot of BL watchers want more action and/or horror BL. Do you know how many times I’ve manifested something like The Whisperer? It was daring, but it paid off. I loved it!
It was also kinda funny. Especially the things that Koon’s brother's girlfriend said. Yes, she was homophobic, but when she said, „Your brother and his boy are so freaking gayish.“, I couldn’t believe what I just read :DD Or when Koon said to Taw: „I hope you don’t cheat on me.“ UMMMM…. Well… Yes, Koon, I’m cheating with a buff version of Drake Laedeke :(
The GORE! Broo I loved the gore so much. It was brutal! A little reminder: No one in this show is a good guy. (If we don’t count Dangjai. He’s my sleepy little baby!)
I still hope we get the last episode. Please. I need to know how it's gonna end!!!

Had potential until...
It was really good drama and had potential until they left us for months (still waiting) with no ending episode. At the beginning I rated this drama 9/10 but now I need to lower my rating 🙃.Whoever wants to watch this I don't recommend since 9th episode was released in late January and it's late June and we still don't have final episode. If you want to save yourself some nerves don't watch it or maybe if they magically give us last episode but until that time no need to rush to start watching this.
