One of GMMTV's best series

First of all, thanks to gmmtv for this great and perfect series. It is in my opinion, one of GMMTV's best series. This series is perfect. The series is truly touching and compassionate. Jimmy and Sea have a perfect bond with each other and they did a great job. I find that this series are a slightly different kind of GMMTV's ordinary Bls. But still, it's perfect in its own way. This series is recommended! I am looking forward to more series with JimmySea.

an incredible addition to recent bls

i watched "last twilight" right after watching "vice versa" and, even if at first thinking it was not the best idea, having to see an abrupt change in character personality coming from the same actor, after finishing it, it was sO worth it.
first, every performance is superb, and in my opinion the highlight of the series, especially towards the end, and it's visible how both mains have evolved as professionals and as a duo since 2022. second, the series just gets better? it explores something we've been seeing a lot in recent bls which are disabilities and instead of it being a collective issue to the relationship, focusing more on how disabled people are perceived vs how they would like to be perceived and their partner's journey into understanding that.

Masterpiece

The Last Twilight Series is personally my number one top BL series! If you want to experience a roller coaster of emotions, this series is for you. Here are some points to check:
1. You will fall in love with the actors. Jimmy and Sea portrayed themselves excellently! They are so comfortable with each other. It’s real and genuine. I fell in love with this series primarily because of them. I felt happy and secured all the way out. Their iconic gesture, "One palm distance," will always be remembered. Their characters, Mhok and Day, will always have a huge special place in my heart! Let me give praise as well to Mark Pakin and Namtan. Their chemistry has added extra flavor to the series. Another mention is for the other supporting actors: Film, Ohm, Kun Kunchanuj, Cream, Jugg, Emi, Thames, and Rang. They were all important in the series. Without them, Last Twilight wouldn't have been outstanding.
2. I would also like to commend how beautiful the cinematography is. It was well shot! My favorite are the scenes that were taken from Songkhla—so remarkable! I would also like to give credit to those scenes that were taken along the busy roads of Thailand. It was kind of challenging, but executed superbly.
3. Let me not forget how beautiful the OST is! Everybody fell in love with it. These are collections of heartfelt songs that hit straight from the heart! By the way, it is now out on different music platforms. Don't forget to stream!
4. If you are too hooked on the series, it will be hard for you to pick your favorite scene and episode. But if you're going to ask me, my favorite scene will be the Khao Kuha Mountain scene in Ep9! I have shed tons of tears in this scene! If you want to know why, go check it out! As for the episode, I would probably pick EP12. I know some may disagree with me, but please hear me out. There are some points that I considered about why this is my favorite. One is the character's aura; I was really amazed at how I could differentiate between the old and new versions of Mhok and Day just by looking at them. I don't know why, but I felt it that way. Stunning! Second, there were three distinctive words that I’ve learned while watching: chance, hope, and acceptance. It was clearly brought up in this episode. The last is the act of true love. Mhok and Day have been apart for 3 years with no communication, but as they crossed paths once again, their love for each other prevailed.
5. Lastly, I would like to emphasize how the message of the series had a big impact on their viewers. It's all on point! Some may not be satisfied and ask for more, but for me, it is perfect! It's message clearly conveyed me! There is nothing to ask for! I am pleased.
Before I finish this review, I would like to personally thank P'Aof and the rest of the team for giving us such a masterpiece! I know how you have worked hard just to make sure this series will hit, and yes! I am 100% sure that all your hard work paid off! You guys deserve all the praise and awards in the future! Cheers! Thank you for this series, and thank you for introducing us to the love and venture of Mhok and Day!
This isn’t goodbye, but till next time! Much love from me and the rest of the nomnoms all over the world! 💜🩵

I become obsessed with JimmySea ??

tbh, I watched this because i am into with ohm thipakorn and knew he was in this show so i watched it for him at first and boom i got hooked with jimmysea!

I have loved the show already since the first ep because the story is interesting. Ep 1-10 was truly wholesome until ep 11 and 12 comes and at the last part of ep 11 got me like 'eh?' where day broke up with mhok for such a petty reason for me though idk it's just like their break up scene was not really that necessary to happen but it happened.

The ending was okay though but it didn't gave me the way i wanted it to ended. after the break up and the next ep went "3 years ago" like wth? how in the world took them so long to get back together cuz I'd be alright if it passed just a year but "3 years ago" really got me and day was still blind after 3 years??

Well, that's the only i wanted to pointed out but nevertheless i still got hooked with the characters and the actors. and the ost of this series is MASTERPIECE i must say best ost bl i have listened to. i have listened to the song every day.

The Most Unforgettable BL Drama Ever

I don't know how you guys didn't like the ending. I think it is a wonderful bl drama. I won't forget about it until I die. I rewatched it again yesterday and today I finished. You can feel the sorrow, hardness, sadness, happiness, caring, joy and love through their acting. Day and Mhok were amazing characters. I just didn't like the idea of blaming only Mhok cause you know it wasn't his fault. His sister committed suicide and he was so worried for his beloved Day. If it was 16 episodes etc. it would be amazing for story, but it's okay. And about Day's thoughts of being normal, guys I think you didn't watch it carefully he was mentioning his ability to live with blindness, he didn't say it for after the operation. Anyways, it's 10/10+ bl drama for me. Jimmy and Sea, you guys are wonderful actors. Thank you for your efforts💜

The thing that is important is the thing that is not seen

That was so soft and lovely and warm with a side of ouchie.

Acting:

Everyone did such a damn good job in their roles. Jimmy was the perfect softhearted badboy. Such a damn good performance in this series. Same with Sea, he was amazing in this. The supporting cast was fantastic as well. Just, braavoooo all round. No notes.

Writing:

I love a story that follows literary parallels. Art imitates life imitates art type beat I eat it up every time. I can’t speak for the blind community on the accuracy of the portrayal of going/living blind, but damn this show did a great job in portraying what it’s like to try to understand others and their different ways of living alongside the delicate balance of how/how much to help. This was a beautiful story all around even if it had that fuckass 3rd act breakup + years-long timeskip evil trope. And the second I saw The Little Prince on that screen I knew this was gonna be good.

Chemistry/Romance/Kissing:

Loved the chemistry between these two. They worked well in every part of their relationship from two rude young dudes to caretaker/client to friends to something more to lovers to exes to lovers. SO GOOD. This is a great romance story; I loved it despite the pain it put me through. The kissing was cute and plentiful. A couple of slightly clumsy moments in there but not in like a what are you guys doing kind of way.

Production/Cinematography:

They did such a great job throughout this series. The perspective changes were well placed and executed. It came together to be a very beautiful end product.

NC Scene:

Took me by surprise there, wasn’t expecting that. They did a great job with it though. It was tender and intimate, very lovely.

Music/SFX:

I enjoyed the music throughout the show; it fit well. SFX were pretty solid, nothing stood out as jarring or off.

Side Couple:

So cute so so so so so so so cute I loved them lovely work making them a couple.

I loved this so much. Casually cried for approximately 50 minutes straight during the last episode, though, which I DIDN’T appreciate, but also I DO appreciate. So lovely.

My Last Tears!

Q: How many episodes do we want to be cry-worthy?
A: Yes.

Emoootional Damaaage!

This was a heart breaking masterpiece. I wish the finale was different, but I am still giving it a 10/10 because it was such a painful, beautiful, all encompassing experience.

Each character is so well written and well acted. A fully fleshed out and resolved plot. Sea and Jimmy absolutely slayed the house down. Aon stole my heart. This was truly one of those shows that feel so real while you're in it and never want it to end.

Bravo!

The BL I wish I could forget just to experience it once again!

Jimmy and Sea slayed their roles as usual. Vice Versa was good but Last Twilight is in a whole new level! Their chemistry is just chefs kiss and the way they act and connect with each other. The simple gesture they do when acting like the way they look at each other you can really feel the emotions they want to portray.

Unique storyline and screenplay. The OST just hits the spot every-time it plays. This BL takes the spot as my favorite BL of all time. Every episode was worth the wait. If you’re looking for a sign to watch/re watch Last Twilight, this is your sign 🧡

Last Twilight is a great and sentimental story. I love a series which includes portrayal of visually impaired, hearing impaired people. And I think Sea really portrayed this character well, I personally can not imagine another actor that would have done it better than Sea did. Mhok and Day really helped each other - Day helped Mhok become a better person. The communication between them is great every time, and I hope to see more series with Jimmy and Sea. Sea was really amazing during Last Twilight, his acting was fantastic portraying a visually-impaired character. I hope to see Sea's amazing acting with great storyline's again in the future.

William's OST is fantastic and personally think it's the best OST of 2024. I listen to it often even though the series has ended.

Masterpiece

Used to scroll the reviews but now that I got my own account,
let me just say I watched this when all the episodes were released newly I was blown away with the plot, the emotional depth, the emotional sensation of this drama is literally insane….im a sucker for sad romance and BL and hear me out because I believe true love is sad true love is not easy and wow I freaking loved this show so much, the way Sea didn’t magically recover from blindness and instead how it deteriorated and how Jimmy accepted the fact and truly loved him and didn’t want to let him go……..not a lot of people would do that. This is true love this is heartwarming and this will be your next watch☝️☺️

Not what you expect.

I like emotional series BUT I never feel like watching them. I only feel like watching something emotional every like 5 months. This series has been on my watchlist for what feels like a decade now. I finally got myself together and decided to watch this series. I haven't realllyyy seen a lot of JimmySea series and I do plan on watching more of them since I think they're overall really good actors. I'm gonna be very honest right here, when I started this series I had not even read the summary. I like being surprised.

Let's start with the representation of disabled people. As someone that has hidden disabilities I feel like this show portrayed disabilities extremely well. The way they showed the emotional side Day had when he learned he wasn't able to see anymore to losing his sport. The way Mhok was able to lead and make everything easier for Day really made my day. It was so sweet how Mhok understood his fears, even if Mhok was able to see. It really seemed like Mhok did research which, from what I remember, wasn't really shown in the series. I just love how Mhok tries to understand Day as much as possible. Mhok seems like a person who can come up with solutions to everything. I love how he casually shows things like audio books to Day and shows Day he can enjoy books and films like a 'normal person', just in a different way.

Amazing relationship build up, and I mean it. In the beginning it kinda felt like it was slow burn, but that didn't matter. The small touches, 'dates' and hand placements all show the affection between Mhok and Day without needing reassurance of their feelings, until August came in. I get the lingering feelings Day and August still had going on but I felt soooo bad for Mhok. Mhok did everything for Day just for August to exist and be Day's interest. I really liked that they added August since it shows how Mhok actually thinks about Day and not just a random realisation.

One thing that lacked was Mhok's side especially his feelings about his sister and the jail stuff. I feel like Mhok decided to take care of Day aswell because of his sister. He must've felt extremely lonely without her. About the sister were only like 2-4 scene's and Mhok never expressed a lot about her. Aside from that, it was super clear that Mhok had been in jail but after a while it started to feel like they kept pushing it as an reminder without really showing how Mhok felt during the time he got send to jail.

The amount of comfort this series has given me is not explainable. I was sooo into it. Even though I was really locked in and very focused on this series, I will be honest, it wasn't suspecting this type go emotional. I kept thinking horrible things would happen and tried not to attach myself to either Day and Mhok, which obviously failed. I thought things like: "what if Day dies" because online I read people being emotional about this series. Yet, aside from no 'super terrible' things happening, I still cried at some scene's. The super romantic tension between Day and Mhok was genuinely so beautiful I wanted to cry.

I'm gonna be very honest right here but I never cared about Phojai and I'm sorry for it. Phojai's story was confusing to me and it felt like fillers. I feel really bad for her but I was just super confused about her through the series. Her character added unnecessary drama. Night and Phojai also barely had any interactions and their whole romance was off. I loved how caring Phojai was though, it's just sad that she always got used as, what felt like, excuses and fillers. "Guys we need some more drama can we add Phojai in it?", that's how it felt. That doesn't mean I hate her, she's a sweetheart but yeah.

This was definitely worth staying up till 5 am for. The ending wasn't the best one I have seen so far and in my opinion they didn't need this 'good ending'. They could've just let Day be blind his whole life.
