History 3 trapped is less intense and more comedic, however, there are definitely similarities between the two. Both have one character that is quite firm with their beliefs and morals who falls in love with someone who challenges these morals. Also in both shows there is a heavy presence of crime and police officer main characters.
- both are 8 episode bl series
- both feature pairings of a doctor/someone working in an establishment (politician/police)
- both MCs have a strong sense of justice, righteousness (Dr Nong and Tew)
- both doctor characters are have committed morally grey actions
- both MLs (Dr Kan and Wi) are somewhat manipulative, willing to do whatever it takes to achieve their goals
- there's lots of debates/exchanges/dialogues on different ideologies/political standpoints/social issues
- both are heavily plot-driven stories, not too heavy on romance between the leads (perhaps could be considered slowburn?)
