Really want to see this drama again!
My favorite Japanese drama - a very thoughtful, touching story, artistically done with wonderful acting, (Uchida Yuki was perfect for the role she played!) beautiful music, narration, dialogue & cinematography. , the use of the color blue. I watched the series once when it came out in 1996 and it really left me with a strong impression. I’ve been looking for it ever since but can’t find it on DVD or streaming anywhere. I really want to see the series again especially to experience again the opening scenes showing the beautiful landscape of Amami oshima, the sound of Koichi Sato’s narration, and the sensual artwork that is featured in various episodes.Was this review helpful to you?
