Well, both are talking about Thai entertainment industry~
Actors as well… even though To Be Continued doesn’t highlight about the industry as deep as that ?

Both talk about the entertainment industry and the dark side to it. Although both are pretty intense, Mr Fanboy shows a very realistic perspective of the industry, whereas Payback has a more dramatic backstory.

But in terms of setting and intensity i would say both are similar

Although celebrity is a kdrama and mr.fanboy is a thai bl both shows explore MC getting famous and having to deal with the ugly parts of the industry they were naive too.

Both are set in the entertainment industry. In reset mc gets betrayed by his lover but in mfb mc gets/feels betrayed by his idol. Both shows explore overcoming betrayal and losing someone presious to them

Both are Thai BL dramas that talk about the dark side of the BL industry including forced ships whereby the actors do not like each other, actors & managers being messy and also about shipping culture.

Both BL dramas are about an obessed fan interacting with his idol who is an actor. In Utsukushii Kare Season 2, Hira is the obessed fan for Kiyoi who is the actor and they are together in a relationship. In Mr. Fanboy, Wan is the obessed fan for Nine, who turns out to be a bad guy, hence he eventually falls for Nine's BL ship partner Third instead.

Both are Thai BL dramas about an established actor celebrity and his fanboy. In City of Stars, Fueangnakorn is the actor and Krommatha is an app developer that is involved with him. In Mr. Fanboy, Third is the actor and Wan is the fanboy (although initially for another character).

Both are Thai BL dramas that talk about the dark sides of the BL industry such as forced shipping of an onscreen BL couple that doesn't like each other. Both also are about a secret relationship that a BL actor has with someone else.

Both are Thai BL dramas about the relationship between a celebrity and an ordinary person. In Mr. Fanboy, the celebrity is a BL actor in an established ship and in ThamePo, it is a Tpop idol. In both dramas, they have to keep their relationship a secret due to company pressure on the celebrity.

Both are BL dramas whereby the ordinary person gets casted into a BL drama. In BL Drama no Shuen, the ordinary person is casted directly into the main lead while in Mr. Fanboy, he is casted into the villain role but falls in love with one of the main leads.
