Not necessarily the same revenge plot.

Disimilarities~ The FL in The Glory avenges herself planning it out over the years; the FL in MPD avenges the death of her family planning it over the years.

Similarities~ in both the dramas the MLs become headsmen for the FLs. In The Glory the ML becomes her executioner, while in MPD the ML becomes the FL's hunting hound (hence the name Doberman).

TG remind me much of drama D.P which also centered around bullying but with different setting as it happened in military premise .IMO, the bullying aspect in D.P was more hardcore, dark , gory than the one shown in TG.

Both main characters experienced a loss of innocence at a young age, and make it their life’s mission to exact their revenge on those who ruined their lives. Both love interests partake in the revenge and have a connection with the main characters in a five-degrees-of-separation-type-of-way.

Both main characters are wicked smart and use their skills in the best way possible. They have a ragtag group of people who help them in their pursuit for revenge and justice. At times, both MCs are morally ambiguous.

Although Miss Gu is a cdrama that isn’t as dark as the glory, nor does it have high quality cinematography BUT it has the following similarities:

The Glory:
FL plans for many years to take revenge & punish the group of bullies that tortured her in school. She gets close to the husband of the main villain and has a well calculated plan.

Miss Gu:
FL plans revenge for 8 years on the group of bullies that framed and ultimately drove her brother into su1c1de. She also gets close to the partner of one of the bullies (moves in across).
And has a step-by-step plan to ruin the bullies.

In both dramas the revenge is both mental and physical and the FLs are one step ahead.
They both waited until the bullies had achieved or are close to achieving their ideal life, to then begin their revenge. Even in adulthood the bullies are still a (dysfunctional) friend group that are intertwined and have affairs.
There is slight romance and while both FLs are cold and calculated, in The Glory the fl is traumatized and it’s more about physical school violence.

The story telling is different but the female revenge saga was similar:)

- Both female leads experience bullying at the same degree.

- The mean girls are alike: Rich, pretty, conniving, and popular.

- Both female leads have a peer who bit the dust. And a peer who turned a blind eye.

- They both become teachers.

- They plan in order to escape/defeat the perpetrators.

- They bend the law.

- They move into their love interest’s home for protection and comfort. They meet their love interest in not so favorable circumstances. Their love interest helps them stop the bullies using their own smarts and knowledge. There’s also an age gap (in RL)

If you liked the glory part 2 then my name is a must watch for you, it has the same plot of Revenge where the main lead is a women who is seeking revenge from some big people

Has revenge plot. Both waited years to achieve revenge. Both dramas have cold hearted female lead that have no mercy in their plot of revenge.

Weak Hero Class 1 is also about bullying and revenge and so much more, but instead of waiting it out until the main character is an adult to exact revenge like in The Glory, the main character in Weak Hero Class 1 took revenge right away and it felt so much more satisfying (at least to me).

The drama only has 8 episodes, about 40 minutes per episode, and each will definitely leave you at the edge of your seat! Try out the first episode and see!

No Inji reminds me a lot of Moon Dongeun. The two female leads play broken characters whose pain is so visceral on screen and almost tangible. Seo Hyun Jin and Song Hye Kyo depict internal external pain in almost similar ways, to the point I worried for their health. However they also depict incredible strength despite their pain.

Both stories focus on revenge and how it affects the people seeking it. The characters are deeply hurt by past trauma, and their journey shows how revenge can change who they are and come at a personal cost. Both highlight the failures of justice, forcing the characters to take matters into their own hands.

They share a dark tone, with symbols like chains representing the burden of revenge. Key moments involve facing their tormentors, bringing some closure but also showing how revenge doesn’t always heal. Both stories explore the pain, struggles, and consequences of seeking vengeance.

Both the Glory and Penthouse have revenge plots. Especially season 2 and 3 the main leads are plotting revenge to someone that hurt them in the past. There is also bullying in Penthouse although its not the main plot.

Both are Revenge dramas. The glory is mostly a planned psychological one, while King of pigs is a bloody revenge with a lot of psychological issues and trauma. Both has bullying as roots of their problems.
