zoro's arc infiltrating usopp's arc XD

with spoilers. This and previous episode even though very nice! much better than they could have been but also a little bit lacking for me personally. again, like in the previous ep the spooky mansion is great, kuro is great, merry was great too. but the kill of merry? :( honestly i know that fans hate the fake out deaths especially pell, but i'm not one of those fans XD i know Matt is XD so i understand why they did it, and i feel that they will do it with pell too. But boy i really love fake out deaths. XD i was rejoiced when pell was alive and i was rejoiced when merry was too. but here, with kaya having only and only merry, this seems very strange. why does usopp leave? leaving kaya all alone! she is strong she can handle? XD nah XD shoving the fake strong female lead trope onto this is a little bit not for me, because in this case, kaya is still sick, she is still recovering, plus she always had someone to take care of her. killing off merry makes are all alone and with that kiss in the end (which i really don't like ><) usopp's leaving is not justified, if he cares for her that much. especially that he doesn't seem to have a clear goal here. In the manga he does, and there is no romance with kaya and she is staying with merry. which makes it all perfect. the second thing that was a bit strange for me is the inclusion of zoro's flashback here. It absolutely stole from usopp. it became zoro's arc of climbing out of the well. :( i understand why they could do that, because they didn't have enough time in other eps, but still, his arc's inclusion here stole from usopp too much. even though i was ok with jango and usopp's crew being absent, this creates a lot of problems XD the main one being usopp doesn't get his hero moment! so him joining the crew feels very very unearned. nami and zoro are nice and strong, it feels earned, in case of usopp, it doesn't, all he does was panicking, i liked that he stayed with keaya still but no one sees it, no one notices. usopp just runs away, so luffy inviting him can be pushed into luffy's dumbness even though luffy here is less dumb than in the manga, but zoro inviting him is not justified. I hope on the second season they try to justify the other strawhats more <3 i like that they replaced jango with that poison soup and luffy eating it all, it is so luffy, but this creates a huge plot hole XD he passes out without knowing what is happening XD and when he wakes up with the marines he is like pirates XD the butler XD and i was like you don't know that XD lol but this could have been easily fixed with him eavesdropping sham's conversation while eating the soup, and maybe they did that but then cut that part in the editing. idk xD but hopefully in season 2 they won't <3 maan i wish i could participate in the production XD lol
also the whole big kuro's plan of 3 years is kind of weird here, because in the manga he wanted to live there quietly and make it that kaya was killed by pirates, but here is like killing people left and right and it's obvious it is him.
Anyway overall i think the episodes are nice and spooky but even though i like usopp a lot, and the casting for him is perfect, i think they could have cut out some parts like zoro's looong climb, kaya and nami bonding (which was nice, but if we need time, then not needed), and cut out some of the marines, to add in at least usopp's hero moment. because tbh XD koby and helmeppo don't look that dependable XD like them being at the door of the mansion, i was more worried about them than our mugiwaras XD again my personal opinion, i know a lot of people who loved these two episodes, thinking it's better than the long syrop village arc in the manga or anime, so i'm very happy about that! <3 hope we see more of usopp!
