Blossoms in Adversity Episode 8
Hua Zhi realizes she is better off taking charge rather than leaving the family and surviving on her own. She and her grandmother first visit the Shen family to call off the engagement, and then she releases all of the servants from their servitude. She plans to work with the family to start a business selling candied haws as a way to support themselves financially.
