Kisses, Kisses and More Kisses
I liked everything about this drama. The ML (Li Ge Yang aka Shen Shi Yi) and the FL (Ke Ying aka Sheng Xia), what a great couple! You will thoroughly enjoy watching these two together. The story revolves around Sheng Xia who is a "kiss instructor" on dramas. She makes sure that when it comes to the kissing scenes that they are done right. It is the closest that she will get to her dream of becoming a star. As she is walking home a man stops her by just holding out a comic book to her. She takes it home and begins to leaf through it and is transferred into a "Mary Sue System" or virtual world of the comic book.
She does have an AI which is in the system called "Xiao Bai" that explains to her she entered the comic "She Runs, He Chases: The Fourth Prince's Beautiful, Young and Weak Wife" in which Sheng Xia was the female lead and Gu Yichen (First Prince) is her male lead. Being the female lead she is naturally immune to poison. She can cure all poisons in the world with a kiss. Xiao Bai tells her that her first kiss would have a binding effect. Her main task is to end up together with Gu Yichen, the male lead. After completing the task, she will then get a customized celebrity system which she will then enter the prime of her life. He then hands her a cell phone which has the "Mary Sue Store." This store she has to acquire her value coins which show up on her arm to be able to purchase items to do her task.
The system is based on dramatic and cliche plots, with love above all. To summon the system administrator, she has to snap her fingers and call Xiao Bai. To get out of the comic book she has to claim the male lead which in this case is the First Prince. But like the best laid plans there is always something that happens. As she was told by Xiao Bai her first kiss would have a binding effect, and she ends up kissing the villain, who is so fine, Shen Shi Yi. By her kissing him she changed the direction of the comic and inadvertently made the villain the male lead. Because these two were now bound together due to her kissing him and not the First Prince. Whenever Shen Shi Yi was poisoned, she would kiss him and take the poison out of him. In return, when Sheng Xia was in danger he would show up and save her.
Trust me, he had no problem kissing her all time. The first episode I swear he kissed her 4 times or more. But you could tell each time they were getting more intense with the kisses. You will be swooning for sure.
Xiao Bai does show up at various points to tell Sheng Xia that she has to keep the comic on track in order for her to return. She tries too but it is apparent that Shen Shi Yi is meant to be the male lead of the comic which does happen after the reboot. In order to do that, they both ended up dying but because it was a sacrifice of true love, they were allowed to do a reboot.
Prior to the reboot, Sheng Xia explained to Shen Shi Yi many things which made him understand that he was in a comic book world. But because of the reboot, Shen Shi Yi was now the male lead, and he was getting weaker from this reboot, she had to save him. As Xiao Bai told her in the beginning, she was to get together with the male lead and since Shen Shi Yi now was, she knew what she needed to do. She asks Shen Shi Yi to marry her, which he does. The next morning, she wakes up only to find Shen Shi Yi gone. She runs outside calling him and is sent back to the real world by the system. She completed her task.
Sheng Xia is totally devastated because she had found her one and true love and he was gone. She went back to the street where she encountered the man that had handed her the comic book and tried snapping her fingers to call Xiao Bai back, nothing. Crying endlessly on the street, you hear the footsteps of a man approaching and he says, "Respected user, the system has received the contents of your complaint. How can I be of service to you?" She turns around and yes, you know it is our man Shen Shi Yi. He says to her, "From now on you do not have to call Xiao Bai, anymore." They both are crying and yes, kissing like crazy! He told her he remembers what she said about him coming to her world and he said it took a lot of effort, but he was there for her.
In the very end, you see her waking up on a couch with a director and crew saying how good she was in her scene. Hence what Xiao Bai told her...she was now a female lead, celebrity in the prime of her life.
Again, good ending and it was just one of those rare gems that you just can sit back and binge watch in no time. Plus, the ML who I have seen in "Trick in Love" is definitely one man that is truly meant for historical dramas. With that flowing hair and looks you will thoroughly be caught up watching him. The FL, she is just cute as can be and she complimented the ML so well. I would like to see them in another drama together.
Truly one that you don't want to miss, get ready to swoon.

Wanna see kisses every episode?! ?
This was actually really lovely, usually I keep an open mind with the short length series I watch, and watch it for what it is. This one i avtuallt wish it was longer, I'd watch a 30 mins per episode of this, but it may ruin it and get all draggy 😄... so I'll be content.I loved, loved, loved their chemistry and boy did they did it with kisses 😄... every episode and they were those good ones too, no fish, no awkwardness. The couple just looked so great together, I'd watch another show with the together.
If you want something with a nice and interesting story, and a cute romance with tons of chemistry, and kisses... thats also short and not draggy, then gove this one a try.

Silly, chaotic, transmigration, fluffy romance
This drama is about the female lead who is a modern girl that enters a comic book as a Mary Sue heroine but messes up the system and bonds with the villain (male lead).Note, to pass the censorship, the last 2 scenes in the finale episode are most likely switched.
POSITIVE:
- Villain male lead (but in a cute way).
- Cute, fluffy romance.
- Kiss scenes every episode (not even exaggerating). Some are good kisses, others are dead fish kisses.
- Making fun of Mary Sue & NPC characters.
- Silly & chaotic plot.
- Transmigration into comic/game style.
- A nice turn-off-your-brain-while-watching drama.
- Happy vibes.
NEGATIVE:
- Nonsense plot. If you care about logic and get easily irritated about the lack of it, don’t watch this.
- Ordinary plot. If you watch transmigration stories, you’ve seen it all before.
OVERALL:
Turn-off-your-brain-while-watching mini transmigration drama with silly plot and cute/fluffy romance.

A drama that doesn't take itself seriously - and neither should you
Okay, if you rate this by "serious 50-episode drama" standards, obviously it's not going to be that high. But from the start, I could tell this was the light-hearted show I needed.I enjoyed Sheng Xia's personality a lot, especially since she seemed somewhat knowledgeable with drama tropes. You would think that's a given due to her profession, but the amount of shows with leads that are supposed to know what they're doing but actually don't are way too many. Sheng Xia was realistic in the sense that she acted like a normal person and not like a damsel in distress. She had a mission and she was going to complete it one way or another.
Shen Shi Yi's character is one of my favorite types of characters: the "I'm stone cold to everyone except for my beloved" type. Immediately when he showed up I knew I was going to like him. I also liked that he wasn't kept in the dark about everything, and was smart enough to figure stuff out.
The fourth prince was hilarious, and Sheng Lian Hua was so cute while she was fangirling over her OTP. Their romance was far less convincing than our leads', but they're secondary characters in a short-length series, what can you expect?
I enjoyed the plot a lot, especially the conflicts that Sheng Xia's deviation of the plot caused. I also enjoyed the fact that due to the nature of her character, she shared a lot of kisses with the male lead. Most of the time C-Dramas tend to be really shy about skinship, so this was great to see.
The ending was a bit neatly wrapped up, but since this was twenty-two 10-minute episodes (or six 30-minute episodes if you're on Viki), it makes sense that they couldn't expand on it too much. Still, I would have liked a bit more explanation on the ending bit.
Go into this expecting a light-hearted show that doesn't take itself seriously, and you'll enjoy it just like I did.

Personally don't like the drama much
A girl who had gone into a sort of vedio game and where she got a task as soon as she completes the task successfully ,she will return to her life but unfortunately the task she got was not started the way it was instructed because her journey of the task started in different way where she had fallen in love with the villain of the game and then game would progress accordingly and villain become hero . As soon the story of the game had over she comeback to her life and she missed her lover .Such type of story I already had watched many times ,only I love love stories that's why I had watched this drama.
Drama is okay .

Strong start, weak finish
I really enjoyed the first ten episodes or so. The show starts off at a lightning pace (it has to, being a mini-series -- that's what I love about mini-series) with the female lead dropping into a "Mary Sue" video game as the FL. At the beginning, the plot mostly focuses on parodying rom-com dramas with all the silly tropes and the almost inevitable trajectory that drama romance plots always go down. The writing is witty and these more comedic episodes were a joy to watch. Also, the level of skinship was great. Kisses and touches all over the place.
Around the middle of the drama, things kind of fell apart for me... the writing got really choppy, the tone was all over the place. We went from a light comedy to a melodrama in an instant. Also, the romance didn't feel believable. The leads seemed to go from not caring about each other at all to being crazy for each other out of nowhere. There is limited time for things to build in a mini-series, and yet I've seen shorter mini-series that had more genuine heartfelt romances.
So, it's worth a watch if you like the transmigration/isekai trope and a good dose of silliness, and you're okay with rapid tone switches. The production value is good for a mini-series and I did have fun watching.
TROPES (light spoilers)
ML falls first, kind of...
FL chases SML first
transmigration - FL enters a video game
villain romance
change of fate
strong relationship between sisters
mischievous, playful FL
reserved, cunning ML

Don't miss this drama, It's funny and cute love story
I don't know how to explain in accurate wayIt's short length drama Don't skip any scenes in last episode to understand the climax
The scriptwriter, editor and cinematography make it pleasantful for me
Actors are deliberately give life to their characters
Especially --- Ke Ying [ Sheng Xia ] and Li Ge Yang [ Shen Shi Yi ] at starting they didn't have chemistry after move on the story their chemistry is outstanding
The director, scriptwriter ANd editor are really brilliant the way they handled the climax it's really impressive

Stumble upon this cause justjacky post it to the feed. Well in the end this kinda help me fill one of the categorize for my MDL 2024 Watch Challenge. Now let's talk drama...
Tell story about Sheng Xia (SX), a modern girl, who out of nowhere suck into comic book & become the FL. Once she got into the comic world, the 'manager' Xiao Bai (XB) get out & explained the system to her. XB told SX, she need to be together with the ML, Fourth Prince, to get out from the comic world. But one thing let to another, SX messed up & manage to tide her fate with Shen Shi Yi (SY), the villain in the comic world. So.... How in the end the story will evolve from here? How SX manage to get out from comic world to her own world...?
That's pretty much the story. Now what I like & don't.
What I like:
+ Good concept.
+ Many funny moment
+ Good acting
What I don't like:
- Nonsense plot. Good concept but so messed in the implementation. Not enough explanation
- Confusion ending. Maybe just like justjacky wrote, they switched the last 2 scenes in the finale episode.
Overall such a shame actually. Cause just like justjacky wrote. Just turn off ur brain when u watch this...

A mini series between parody and absurd.
PLOT: a second-rate actress, FL, is sent into a video game with a classic historical plot. But she bonds with the supposed villain of the Court (the ML), rather than with the 4th prince (OGML). She will face the hazards of the game, court plots, ... while trying to bring her darling back into the real world with her.The story is totally eccentric, surfing between parody (a long series of clichés from historical dramas) and isekai.
It's relatively well played, we can admire Li Ge Yang's handsomeness.
BUT
- I didn't get hooked on this unexpected/incoherent/absurd plot.
- the characters are inconsistent, as is often the case in mini dramas.
I would like to see Li Ge Yang again in a more developed series, but I do not recommend this drama.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to the drama of the Dead Fish Kisses….
Its an original concept with a simple enough storyline some funny moments and good enough acting. The drama is low budget so don’t expect something big but the costumes, setting, effects and everything are made well enough so it looks quality and believable.
It has a many funny scenes and a cool mix of modern life and video game/comic moments and historical ones so its quite charismatic.
The characters were a bit two dimensional, but its a very short drama so I don’t think we should ask much more of it.
The acting was so so, and the male lead was a bit bland. The chemistry was no where to be found and even though there were 6362826363873 kisses ALL of them were dead fish ones, so if you are looking for believable kisses, this is not your drama.
Overall, entertaining and lighthearted! And because it’s very short you will finish very quickly to watch it so give it a go.
