Hidden Identities and Palace Betrayal
I consider this drama a hidden gem because not many people were talking about it when it released, and it’s still one I rarely see recommended. Some people feel microdramas can’t be executed well, but I think this one proves they absolutely can. It avoids many of the pitfalls that other microdramas fall into, such as glorifying brutality against women or feeling underdeveloped due to weak scripting and production.I absolutely loved this and easily consider it a top-shelf watch. It’s a hidden identity revenge narrative built around a false eunuch and assassin premise, but it also delivers genuinely hilarious comedic moments that had me in stitches. The villain and adversary dynamics were incredibly well done and made the conflicts engaging while also making me appreciate the antagonist. Add in poignant backstories, palace betrayals, and a romance that truly landed for me, and this became one of my favorite watches.

Love and kindness win!
A love story through conspiracy. A good plot, a suitable cast and very good acting. A 4hour movie, which you can stop watching. Definitely there is chemistry between the main actors and the love scenes are descent and gentle. Without many art effects, the audience's attention is focused on the plot and the acting. The end is unexpected, for sure. I can't understand why the audience has not seen it. It certainly isn't a lost time! The true love always wines!Was this review helpful to you?

цікава дорама. не думала, шо затягнусь. і головний герой схожий на Чжи Чан Ука. я вже думала, шо головні герої помруть, а третій принц забув, шо для нього зробили. як же я зраділа, коли побачила, шо вони обоє живі, а третій принц все таки милосердний. він дійсно достойний. дуже неочікувано було, коли виявилось, шо Пей труїв імператора. я не думала, шо він здатний на таке. але це було очікувано з його сторони. все таки імператор стратив всю його сімʼю, а його «зробив євнухом». добре, шо тут хепі ендWas this review helpful to you?
