Needless to say one of the most clean and refreshing drama of 2024!

I highly recommend this show. The filming, acting, osts, plot lines are all tied so well together making it extremely interesting to watch. You may think it is a simple time travel story like all the other dramas with a similar plot, but there are actually many hidden details and twists that make the story much more engaging and interesting.

The drama focuses more on romance and comedy but also has a bit of crime. The one thing im most grateful for is that the writer did not over emphasise the crime portion but instead naturally incorporated it into the plot twists and character developments.

The writing was good and the plot is easy to follow, the comedy scenes are quite funny as well. All the actors did a wonderful job bringing their characters to life. Her best friend and her brother were so funny to watch.

Hyeyoon's acting was insane, she had to cry almost every episode but the way she could immediately go from tearing to bawling wowww. I loved her character as well!

Wooseok was really good as well he was head over heels for her and his expressions while acting were so good.

Their chemistry really showed 2 dynamics, innocent romance when they were in high school and college and a more mature relationship when they became working adults.

Really good watch and i'm glad this drama managed to go on air after being kept away for 3 years :(

Lovely Runner is truly one of the greatest and best dramas of all time. This drama really had a mixture of everything, great story, strong plot, character development, romance, comedy, secret crush, first love everything that you could imagine of for a drama. Honestly watch a delightful drama this was. I’m really going to miss waiting for episodes to drop each week. I’m going to miss being happy and excited every Monday and Tuesday. My Mondays and Tuesdays was made exciting because of this drama. I’m going to miss hearing “Sunjaeahh” and “Solah” each week. This SolJae couple was epic.

Every character in this drama worked so hard to create this amazing masterpiece. I’m going to miss each and every character in this drama, from Taesung, In Hyuk and our beloved Halmoni. Really what an amazing drama this was. The story was written so well and one of the best time travel dramas I have ever seen.

Ryu Sunjae character was literally a forest full of green flags and Byeon Wooseok did such an exceptional job in portraying Sunjae’s character so well, he really bought that character alive. I also have to mention Wooseok also participating in singing one of the OST’s Sudden Shower really added that special touch, hearing his voice singing this song in the drama really added that extra touch and made this drama whole.

Kim Hye Yoon also portrayed her character Im Sol so well. You can really tell that this drama was really written for her, I can’t think of anyone else playing the role of Im Sol that Hye Yoon herself. She really did such a great job in bringing out her character and it was amazing to see Im Sol go to great lengths to keep Sunjae alive. The ending of this drama was so wholesome as well.

Special mention of Son Geon Hee who plays the role of Kim Taesung. Wow he is such a talented actor and he played his character so well. The OSTs in this drama was also top notch, each OST really shows the character story and the feeling of the drama. Byeon Wooseok (Eclipse) singing Sudden Shower to 10cm long awaited OST Spring Snow that we were all waiting for so long.

Overall, this was a beautiful drama and definitely a drama that everyone needs to watch. Everything about this drama has been written so well that you will be captured by this drama from episode 1. Thank you Lovely Runner for making my Mondays and Tuesdays so beautiful for the past 6 weeks. I’m really going to miss this drama. Lovely Runner you have shown what true love really means and what it feels like to be in love and to be loved by someone.💛💫✨

favourite kdrama!

This drama hurted my head stomach and heart in a good way, sunjae loved her in all timelines and he knew her from the FIRST EPISODE but she forgot but anyway i wont spoil anymore.
Sunjae really raised my standards extremely high in men and i wont settle for less.
I feel really bad for tae sung though he is so cute why do all second leads are so good.
Anyways this is amazing and i play sonagi on repeat so, what are you waiting for? Go watch it!

Entertaining but plot feels lacking

This drama was entertaining - the actors did a great job, the music was great, and it contained all of the classic k-drama elements. I loved the side characters! However, the overall plot is a bit disappointing. The plot required a lot of coincidences to occur for the story to go on - while I think some of them are fine and can add to the comedic aspect of the drama, some of them felt very annoying. I was constantly yelling at the screen because the female lead was doing something unnecessary, especially towards the beginning of the drama. I found the ending for the main thriller plot quite disappointing as well. There were so many attempts at catching the bad guy throughout the entire show, but the final attempt was very quick and lackluster in comparison. The romance scenes and character dynamics were cute though.

Well, I confess that I became interested in this drama by reading the synopsis which, in short, talks about a fan who obtains the power to go back in time to try to save her favorite idol right after he supposedly committed suicide in 2023. To try to save him , Sol goes back to 2008 where she was still a student and Sunjae, the idol she admired so much, was also still a student. There are MANY plots (breaking expectations) that make you fall in love with each episode and the protagonists. I would never have imagined that both would have such a deep and interconnected story. The feelings they both feel are transmitted in such a pure and human way that it is impossible not to be moved. I cried in almost every scene (I consider myself very sensitive). So far, for me, Lovely Runner has become the best drama of 2024 in my opinion, Byeon Woo-seok (Sunjae) and Kim Hye-yoon (Im Sol) gave a show of chemistry, comfort and emotion in each scene they starred in together . I recommend it a thousand times and a thousand more if possible, it was wonderful to watch every second of this masterpiece episode ☔💛

Because maybe, before that, there was a more interesting drama.

I don't know, I've only watched dramas with the same story. Even more feelings and sadness can be felt. I watched it just because of the actor and it went viral.

So, in my opinion, the story is easy to predict, because it is the same as the drama from the neighboring country which was previously released. Even the drama made me cry, but when I watched this I felt normal. Except my heart is happy to see the actor.

Apart from that, most people watch it just because of the actors, it would be too much if this was the best drama. I'm surprised that even the previous drama was much better. This story is too common, come on, really

I hated mondays and i look forward to mondays now. Ryu Sunjae and Im Sol appeared out of nowhere and took over my life with their epic romance. Their love story was like a whirlwind, pulling me into their world of passion, trials, and triumphs. Every moment they shared was filled with intensity, from their stolen glances to their heart-wrenching confessions. They navigated through misunderstandings and obstacles with a determination that made me believe in love's power to conquer all. I really cant put into words how precious this drama is. An Interesting time slip replay to win true love.
Time slips and meta-relpays can be so challenging to sort out let alone maintain charater growths in only 16 episodes. Hut Lovely Runner has skillfully done so with all its overlaping charater plays and links.

The main leads- Im Sol & Ryu Seon Jae battle through their twisted fates across 15yrs of overlaps and redos. Im Sol wants to protect & save him. Ryue Seon Jae wants to protect & save her. The chemistry is so good for the leads. And the hemistry & banter amongst the secondary characters and couples. I love truely enjoyed the jealous bromance between RSJ & KTS. I absolutely love all the work and growth of Kim Tae Song ( by Seon Geon Hee). KTS starts as the typical angsty teen boy and grows to the strong best friend for both along their time limes, quietly suporting and sheltering their love bc he wants her happiness and long life more. Yes, some firendships are stonger in the begining, while others grew stronger after a few retries. but that actually pushes the growth arcs.

SeonJae noticed her Sol long before she realized, as she was his mystery call from the opening scene.
The start of his love and missed chances is always palpable...but the time slips begin when Im Sol initiates the sequence to correct the tragedy of losing someone she didnt know she needed.
Sol's Grandmother is truely, the voice of the fates reminding and nudging them to grab on to love, enjoy life, and live through the challenges in all its stages. Reminding them that the Soul needs true love to live just as we need oxygen to breath.

Irony -this is the second kdrama "rewrite my life" series i have wathched with Kim Hye-Yoon cast as acting FL . She pulls off the mature and omniscent protaganist very well here, while maintaining the distinct differences in charater between innocent young Sol and the experieced older Sol.

Lovely Runner does a wonderful job of differentiating the story line from other kdrama tropes. Soo much symbolism at play through out the series. Important foundations of the time slips are credible and mystical enough to be successful. After just 2 episodes you are hooked and you need the rest to follow through...ASAP. Binge and rewind and replay soo many good scenes!

EVERY TOUNGE RISE AGAINSE SOL AND HYEYOON WILL FALL.

Some of you watchers are very weird cause the storyline is honestly very easy to understand but i saw some of yall are actually being really ...
- Saying Sol is lack of regard to other ppl cause she is too into Sunjae?? now let's ignore the fact that the series has 16 episodes, each with nearly 1 hour, also the fact that yall beloved Sunjae died. Sol actually saved her house from being on fire, leading to her mother getting burned in her hand. Sol care about her mother you can actually see that through Hyeyoon's outstanding acting when the mother was in the hospital. Sol spent her days with her family, going to the market with her mom, doing chores, helping her grandma, bickering with her brother, literally told him the lottery numbers so he and her best friend will be comfortable in the future... and more than that, she stayed friends and gave advice to Taesung. Her reason is savng Sunjae but she also had times with her loved family and friends. Moreover yall are hypocrite because when yall criticize Sol for neglecting her family, Sunjae did literally the same but guess what, it's somehow cute and for the comedy.

- Now move to the main plot of the show, saving Sunjae. yall just never get tired of hating and blaming Sol for everything she did cause when she tried her best saving the ml, all you care is "omg this hurt sunjae fvck sol". only care about the ml feelings but never put yourself in sol shoes cause Sol literally sacrifice her happiness just for him to be alive and yall still criticize her. She's happy yall will freaking scream saying how about Sunjae, she's desperated saving him yall will still blame her cause your fragile ml is sad. At the end of the day, yall just watch this show for the visual but not for the plot cause everything Sol did is so understandable and empathic.

- The reason why Sol did not use time stop or whatever it's called is literally so easy to understand but yall chose to be dumb. SHE CAME BACK TO SAVE SUNJAE AND IF SHE KEEPS PAUSING THE TIME, THE TAXI DRIVER WILL STILL BE FREE ROAMING AND HARM SOL IN THE PAST, LEADING TO SUNJAE SAVING SOL IN THE PAST AND SUNJAE WILL DIE IN THE FUTURE. So what's the point of coming back? Also everytime she screams for the time to stop, there's always a person to listen to her story. One scream to stop the time then keep screaming while running to escape the taxi drivers who has a fcking car to drive, with the panic she is having. Yeah let's get yall in that damn story to see if it's gonna freaking work.

- And about Kim Hyeyoon, i swear i will really raise hand if i see anyone downplaying her cause the muse of Im Sol, the Blue Dragon, Grand Bell, Baeksang awardee is not something to be joked about. Not to mention the male lead, and many actors in the show said SHE made them acting and expressing emotions better because SHE acted so well. Her acting skills, her acting range, her diction is praised by not only the crew but also film critics, experts. Pay some respect to her name.
