Its not that deep but its gonna sink in your mind quickly
Although thriller aspect to it and not so happy begginig this drama is full of fluffyness and awkward missunderstandings you are gonna love.Time travel, love angst and lots of laught combined with trully sorrowfull moments make watching this drama a full rollercoaster of emotions.
Nowadays it seems every movie and every series tries to be serious and touch on difficult topics. But in this difficult times something that will make you forget the darkness of reality may have even more value. Lovely Runner shows us that in every tragedy there is a possibility for a happy ending and reminds us that life has to be balanced as "for every precious thing you gain you have to lose something else". But sometimes this exchange is trully worth it.
Some say that 9.2 rating is exaggerated, but to me this drama has proven its worth. It may not be anything new or thought provoking, but it made me feel things i havent for years. And those is what matters the most to me.

Kdrama life changing 2024
I had episodes in my life that i am struggling of all the things that’s happening in my life (personal and work) this series saves me like always always looking forward on Monday to watch the new episode! I have binge the series more than 10 times. I love the story, cast and everything about it. Its just a fantasy. omg, it took me a while to write a review about this but nevertheless i did it!!this kdrama gives all the vibes i want, the characters, the ost, the acting is so good you gonna rewatch it all the time.
sunjae omg SUNJAE! you are one of the best main characters i've watched, you are a green flag through and through - even how many times he goes back and forth through time he'll end up falling in love with im sol 😭
im sol the cute woman you are, to classmate to a fan to being his first love and to being his forever ahhhhhh!! so lucky!!
love love the plot and the main goal of the story for sunjae to stay alive.
ost is also at its finest - sudden shower is my favorite 💖

Solid typical K-drama with a time travel twist
If anyone were to recommend a k-drama to get into k-dramas, this would be a good one.It has the modern day green flag male falling for oblivious distsy female, with a sprinkle of second lead. And can't forgot a random thriller twist that all Korean romance dramas need to have! In this one, we have a psychopath who is out to kill the male lead.
If you watched Someday or One Day, the Taiwanese drama, the time traveling kind of reminds me of that. But they were able to incorporate their own flair to time traveling to make it so clever and binge-worthy.
It's crazy this one psychopath serial killer affected their lives so much. A little too draggy for me. And as a result, there was way too much filler for me towards the end. I couldn't even watch the last episode cause I know it'll be filler. It's not a romance k-drama without a random cute date of visiting stores and winning plushies! I also couldn't stand the female lead and her siloed decisions. She is literally the (lovely) runner.
The music, is phenomenal.

I really don't know what exact feeling am I giving to this drama...
The story is nice and understandable, though I was kinda annoyed by how it goes because she kept coming back and forth through all the episodes. Like I was very confused and was about to drop this drama on episode 4 or something because I was so confused and I felt kinda sorry to Sol too. Like if I was her I'd end my life right away due to confusion that leds to depression....... anyway!Actually if someone I liked told me that they are annoyed by my existence I'd never show up infront of them ever like EVER.. but this Sunjae mf still insist to follow her anywhere which is very annoying like...
I somehow don't really like the OSTs except 4 songs. ..
But the feeling when they reunited with the memories they had is so heart warming, I didn't cry the whole season but that scene made me very emotional.

Can't get over the show
It have been a long time since I felt so attached to a show like this. This show me feel all kinds of butterflies. The cast chemistry is out of this world. I know it's shallow. But i am lowkey shipping the actors as well. I have watched all of hyeyoons dramas. And I am always amazed by her passion and hardwork.i thought she was a topstar.. but I was disappointed to know that she still struggled getting projects. I really hope she achieves whatever she pursues. I don't think I have ever rooted for an actor like this before(except for ikon , seventeen and BI). I know k actors don't repeat being seen together.but i really can't wait to see them together again. Wooseok really shined as sunjae. I really hope they work together again. Wooseok must be an outstanding actor of he isn't in love with Hye toon.I mean those eyes chiko... They don't lie.

The best kdrama in 2024 or even in the history of kdrama
The movie Lovely Runner was well written, well executed and won all other big budget drama production by a mile. The actors and actresses were all professional and executed their parts well. There were so many layers to the story that it is rich in relationships, storyline and presented a multi-dimensional yet entertaining, heart-warming and tear-inducing plot.The love between Sunjae and ImSol, between ImSol and her mum, between ImSol and her maternal grandma, between Sunjae and his dad, between TaeSang and his dad were all so real, warm and relatable. The friendship between Sunjae and his bandmates, between ImSol and her bestie, the rivalry between Sunjae and TaeSang tucked a string in viwers heart. The hilarious boss of ImSol, the funny yet helpful driver of Sunjae, the pure kind hearted parents who hosted the gang in Tampuri, it was simply too much to take in all at once. Even the villain put up a good fight and made a deep impression on viewer.
I could not praise the supreme acting by the many good actors and actresses enough (particularly the leads, who braced freezing cold winter water for the filming), the writer, the directors, the lighting crew, the unsung heroes who made this show possible. I nearly to forget to praise the OST!!
So many memorable and catchy tunes by all the singers!!! The achievement by fiction band Eclispe and Byeon Woo Seok (who is not even a singer and yet sang Sunagi so well omg) were all highlights of 2024 and made this year so special. I think Lovely Runner deserved to be the best kdrama for 2024, and even deserved to be the best kdrama of all time. Way to go!!!

Amazing!
This drama is so well done and I loved every part! I love all of the connections throughout and also the emotions of the characters. The main leads are so talented and you could tell they gave it their all. There is a beautiful depth to the story without it feeling cheesy. I can watch this over and over and each time recognize something new! It has a wide variety of humor, drama, etc. All of the supporting cast helped bring sweet moments as well! in my opinion best kdrama
This drama is an incredible blend of romance, comedy, and, most importantly, action. From the very first episode, I was completely hooked and couldn’t stop watching. In fact, I’ve already watched it three times, and each time, it feels just as thrilling as the first. I wish more dramas were this captivating, drawing me in so completely. This one has undoubtedly become my all-time favorite. I love all the actors and the chemistry they share, which makes every scene come alive. It’s truly a masterpiece!Was this review helpful to you?
Best Drama of 2024
It would seem like your regular romcom but Lovely Runner actually has so many layers to it that will make you want to watch more.Kim Hyeyoon has always been one of the best actresses of her generation and her portrayal of Sol was perfect. She was definitely meant for the role.
No dull moments, perfect soundtrack, amazing chemistry. Definitely will come back to it in the future whenever I need a pick-me-up.

This drama deserves its high ratings! Trust it because I didn't and proceeded to watch without much expectation but OMG.... So yeah, I almost regret not watching this drama due to the low ratings given by some commenters here labeled with "Most Helpful Reviews" which didn't help at all because that discouraged me from watching it instead. I first watched Twinkling Watermelon before this one and I loved it! I would rate that one 8/10 but nothing prepared me for all the emotions I would feel from Lovely Runner which has a similar storyline. I laughed a lot, cried a lot, and fell in love again and again. The main leads both gave justice to their characters and they have such strong chemistry! Kudos to the cast, writers, and directors of this drama because it's very well executed. I'm a certified K-drama and C-drama fan and for me, this one is hard to surpass. I've seen more dramas after watching this but I find them lacking and bland.Was this review helpful to you?
Overhyped and not worth to watch.
The beginning episodes brought out a different and unique plotline but the further you watch, the stupid decisions that female lead makes, make me mad for some reason. The script or the directions could have been much better. I feel like the female lead is over acting that does not suit the drama (no offense, as i liked her in extrodinary you).
