mindset kills your mind! DAMMNN! THE END IS GOOSEBUMPS!??
i don't expect that the ending to be destroyed like that, was very disappointing. why would they struggle to survive against monsters if they end up dying at the hands of their own friends. fck pls make a repeat scene for part 2, we hope for a happy ending for the students. they deserve to be happy and reunited and studying at school for their college studies.fckk
im crying rn

Part 2 was awkward and rushed
Loved part 1, hated part 2. Me and my husband watched it together and we had to push ourselves to finish it. We couldn't focus anymore cuz of the bad storyline and the ending is just a f*u to all the viewers. The time skip between pt1 (ep6) and pt2 (ep7) is odd but i guess a normal thing to do in drama's to begin a new part. What's really odd to me is that the army guy kim won bin (lee soon won) just dissappeared with no explanation. None of the other military people seemed to take part of this war anymore. The storyline of just having the kids fight was awkward and pushed way to much to make sense. Also they never explained what happened to literally everyone else in south korea, to not even speak abt the rest of the world. Why did nobody ever come to help them?
The ending is also just really dumb and rushed, literally all the character development and everything was for nothing. They tried to throw all the plot twists possible in there and during that lost their effect. And then also everything ending with them not even receiving any honor or credit for all their work and sacrifice? People even protesting so they won't get honor and credit for their work? I feel like they were trying with this ending to show how f* up the SK mindset is toward education/college but to me it just was way to forced. SK people are also about honor and pride for military but that just got shoved aside to force this storyline. It's just so far from reality it didn't make sense.
It shows that the writer/producers just wanted to have a twist at the end but didn't exactly know what and went with this. This drama had so much potential and it all went to waste in part 2.

Why?
I was a huge fan of the first part of Duty After School and had high hopes for Part 2. The characters and story had me hooked from the beginning. However, as I got into Part 2, my excitement turned into disbelief and frustration, especially when it came to the ending. The conclusion left me bewildered, it felt rushed and lacked clarity. I couldn't help but wonder why the creators made such decisions. The first part of the series had gathered a substantial fanbase, and there was so much potential for Part 2 to build upon that success. Instead, it left many fans, including myself, feeling unsatisfied and longing for more. It's weird to think that the creators might have believed that this ending would make the series a hit. It seemed as if they wanted to wrap up the story hastily, leaving us with numerous unresolved questions.
One of the most frustrating aspects of the ending was the lack of a proper explanation. We were abruptly told, 'All the monsters are gone now. Everything is fine again,' without any context or closure. It left us hanging, wondering about the fate of the (left alive) characters.. It's as if a critical part of the story was missing, and we were left to fill in the gaps ourselves.
(Let’s also not forget how they just forgot about one of the Sargent characters. Where was he?)
!Spoiler!
And the most frustrating aspect of the ending was the abrupt and seemingly unnecessary loss of nearly all the characters. It happened so fast that it left me in shock and disbelief. These characters, whom I had grown attached to throughout the series, deserved better. It felt like their deaths were rushed and lacked the emotional depth and significance they deserved.
The sudden and widespread character deaths further contributed to the sense that the creators were trying to tie up loose ends quickly, without giving proper consideration to the impact it would have on the story and the viewers. It was a disheartening turn of events that left a bitter taste in my mouth.
!Spoiler end!
In the end, I can't help but feel disappointed, and it seems I'm not alone in this Statement. The series had so much potential, and it's disheartening to see it end this way. I've even found myself speculating that perhaps it was all a dream of that one character, desperately trying to make sense of the unresolved plot threads.
Ultimately, I wish the creators had taken more time and care to create a more satisfying and meaningful ending, one that would have done justice to the fantastic characters and story they had built over the course of the series. A part 3 could solve it but so far it doesn’t seem like we’ll get one.

For me worth watch !
Drama was good the 1st part blown my mind. I also think that there were some parts missing or kinda incomplete story or their were some loop holes to it . Like they havent show anything about the kids they rescued and woo bin. Also how they found there operation base themselves so that was a big gap there but bro acting, awesome I never left like watching a acted show. Good drama but the ending , uh killing em all was so sad bro ? that was totally unexpected like I was like uhh how they will end this a happy or sad or suspense with another season / part but it was totally unexpected broo ☠️ still I m happy I watched it the friendship they had, the bond was so ?Was this review helpful to you?

Duty After School - Part 2
- It was better than some other people make of it.- Sure, the pacing was a bit messed up.. HOWEVER, the ending was solid.. IMO.
- The ending showed that at the end of the day, it wasn't the aliens that were the biggest risk, it was humans themselves.
- I like how they killed off the more irrelevant characters first before getting rid of the other characters where we'd actually feel something.
- I also liked the fact that in the beginning, the students were so sweet, naive, and innocent. So us watching they getting brutally murdered makes us feel something as well.
- The character developments were very nice to see as well. (Il-Ha & Bo-Ra)

IDK WHY U GUYS HATING SM
I liked. Obviously the ending was messed up. but there was a great social critique, that the real monsters were humans. I found the ending confusing and strange so I think it's not just that, all this hate towards the series is unnecessary I really liked it. but each to their own opinion.I liked the whole series and found it super interesting I didn't stop watching. so I liked it and give it a 9. i do believe there will be a 2nd season. and the ost and the characters are so funny omg, taking away the kills..

Every thing has an ending and we after sweet home (webtoon) I expected this one
I am not a huge fan of shit hits the fan in the last episode ending. and I also think part 2 shouldn't have been separated from part one and that it could have been better. That being said. This drama was from episode one a direct attack on the school system and college entrance exam. It had a message and was committed to it. The happening was not "spheres falling" but "exam points being offered". They never made an effort to study, analyze, or inspect the monsters beyond what was needed on site. So beating and solving the issue was never the solution.
I do agree with the idiocy of the adults and was baffled to see parents still caring about the exams; however, I wasn't surprised. The show didn't give us an ounce of hope that the kids will make it (no survivors scenes or experiments and labs like all of us are dead). Is this a good ending? Not really. Is it a bad one? Not necessarily. Would I still recommend it? Yes! If I go back in time would I not watch part 2? Part 2 wasn't bad it was a continuation of part 1 plot, the plot wouldn't change and the ending make sense in that case.

THERE IS ONLY 1 PART OF D.A.S
part 1 was literally the best which made it us all excited for it but 2nd part ruined it all and turned it into a disappointment. in part 2 they should've sticked to sphere plot only instead of them completely sidelining it and making it look like they fought for nothing. and the sad part was wonbin disappearing without any mention of him throughout the second part. btw guys if you care about your mental health and don't want to go through trauma then don't watch part 2 and pretend there was just 1 part of duty after school <3 byeWas this review helpful to you?

They should had made the title more accurate for part 2
This drama I swear bro they made All of Us are Dead but better. The ending was so bad, the fact that they killed everyone besides Kim Chi, Na Ra, Ae Seol, and another person died because of that one dude who was first place in class because the other first place died. The fact that some people say that if he did not get bullied he would have not killed anyone even though he killed people who tried to comfort him when he becomes crazy that the CSAT was canceled. That was the worst way they could had ended the dang drama. They also could had at least shown the 4 remaining survivors being together or something but nooo they had to make it look like there was only one remaining this drama does All of Us are Dead but better. Do not watch it, it is so ass that I believe it would have been better to cancel it. The only reason is overall score is 1.0 is because I can't do 0.0 and the only thing that would change my mind is that I see the 4 people well together and see Kim Chi and Na Ra together. Alright enough said this drama is worst than those cringe memes I always find online and they made a really good build up but than ruined it and did not even try to at least give us something good. Was this review helpful to you?
Worth the journey
I don't usually write reviews, but to tell the truth i feel compelled to do this now because I was prepared for the worst since the part 2 was released.Instead imho it was just perfect, because not only it was totally unpredictable, but it also gave a deepest meaning to everything.
It could have been so easy to builtld up a hero story, instead they gave us a true coming of age odissey in Korea.
So, buckle up and don't stop at pt1....go down the rabbit hole of these 4 last episodes and prepared lots of tissues!!

The ending ruined everything !
Honestly, the drama and the concept were very good, but I felt that the ending was rushed. I hated the ending as it was tragic and reminded me of DP, like, why couldn't they just give all the remaining kids a good life? Why did they have to die? If they had to die, let them be killed by the aliens, but how did they die due to an idiotic guy who was too stressed and did something stupid? He could have just asked for forgiveness, but he killed most of the students. I also felt that the prison episodes were unnecessary, they could have used that time to find a safe haven or have the kid destroy the last sphere for a good closure, but no, they put in a useless prison episode(s). This series had a lot of tragic and traumatic scenes, but I really liked the acting by the kids who played the students. Was this review helpful to you?
Worst, most non-sensical ending I've ever seen in any show
If you already watched part 1, do not waste your time continuing this. And do not watch it altogether if you haven't watched part 1.Was this review helpful to you?
