could’ve been written better
the script was rather disappointing, although the overall storyline was good. Main leads were great, their scripts were just not that great. Not to mention that the episodes were so short, this whole series could’ve just been made into a movie. Male lead needs better roles. He is the main reason I finished the series. People were getting annoyed with Female lead, however, the script written for her was not suited. She was doing quite well in Meteor Garden. I’ll watch it again. Cute short story
It's a short novel about demons and humans, the couple is very much in tune, they're cute and had good times together, the story is often funny, light, and good for passing the time. ML is that typical, more reserved protagonist, but with that fierceness that knows how to press her buttons, I got irritated with her on several occasions because she didn't see what was in her face, and she made stupid decisions, but I forgive her because she I felt like I couldn't trust anyone, I was worried about the ending, but it was satisfactory! In short, a good mini drama and a couple with a lot of chemistry.Was this review helpful to you?

Blind hatred towards a race is never justified.....
This was a very short series, however the airing schedule made it stretch too long... I had started watching it earlier but had to pause it for a time till all episodes aired...But it would not be a problem for future viewers so no need to discuss that.Actors Zou ye as Bo Qiu and Li JiaQi as Su Xiao Huan did a wonderful job in portraying their emotions within the framework of the story. Even the supporting cast of Xiang Xin as Yu Li and Wang Ting Xu as Xuan Yuan Qingchuan did justice to the role written for them.
The story itself was very simple and motivation of the antagonist was almost non existent, pitting human versus demons would not be beneficial to a halfling, the whole series is focused on killing the demon king, Bo Qiu but nobody stops to question that killing him wouldn't resolve their problems as he wasn't responsible for any of their woes in the first place...the production team with the limited budget tried their best to showcase the tale however if the script had been better the actors could have something more to work on.
What impressed me was the difference between Yu Li and XiaoHuan thought process.... Yu Li reveals that her motivation for creating chaos and slaughtering humans and demons alike was because she had been mistreated by both races in childhood... So she is responsible for the war which is leaving thousands of people hungry, homeless and destitute..... Where as Xiao Huan also states in her conversation with Bo Qiu that she was orphaned at an early age and left to fend for herself, she too had a difficult childhood but she chooses to remember small kindness shown to her by people of offering her warm bowl of food, helping with small things which makes her believe that all people are not bad.... Also Xian Huan's love for animals is heartwarming to see.
Cinematography was the saving grace, picturisation and scenes were shot beautifully.
The instrumental music inserted during ML and FL's emotional scenes was very mesmerizing and soulful. Lot was said in the tune without any words.
Overall : Could be watched once, but not the best mini series out there. Hopefully the actors would get better opportunity in future.

é um mini cdrama bem gostosinho de assistir, principalmente pra quem tá voltando de uma ressaca braba de varios meses sem ver nada.A atuação dos protagonistas são muito boa, a história se desenvolve de uma maneira bem rápida, com alguns furos, mas bem satisfatória.
gosto muito dos cenários, da fotografia e dos mínimos detalhes sobre a antiga vida dele. Gostei também da construção da história do amor deles, achei tão fofo e divertido.
Ponto positivo pro plot twist do nada, vilão virando mocinho, mocinho virando vilão, maldição se revertendo, muito bom!!

This should have been a full-length series or a movie
The main issue with this drama is that it suffers from what they were trying to do. They essentially tried to stuff the same amount of scenes into a 10-minute episode as they would have in a full-length drama. Consequently, they had no time to really flesh out the characters or develop the plot. This made it seem like things were just randomly happening or characters had sudden and inexplicable change of hearts for no reason whatsoever. From the very beginning, they just jumped into new settings and new scenarios with no foreshadowing or development whatsoever.Beyond that, they had pacing issues from trying to end every 10 minute episode on a cliffhanger of some sort. It almost always felt very forced - going from just a normal scene talking to suddenly some huge thing happening. And that happened over and over again every ten minutes. Everything was just so rushed. They had enough of a "skeleton" of a story that they could have padded it out into a normal length drama. They should have either done that or seriously tighten the story up and make it into a film, dropping multiple scenes. I don't know what on earth possessed them to make it this ridiculous length.
Aside from that, the FL's character was ridiculous - they were going for the foolishly comedic type of character. But I've literally never seen a drama make one of the main leads into this sort of over-the-top stupid characters. Normally when they have a character be that stupid for comedic effect, it's a side character. Or if they have the FL start off as naive and innocent, she doesn't stay like that for long. This girl's stupidity lasted at least 85% of the show - and when she finally started being normal it was a sudden switch because of their timing issues. What made it worse was that every other character was written and acted like this was a serious drama and then you have this one character, the FL, acting over-the-top stupid like this is a comedy.
Overall, it's a relatively short watch and it was a decent story with good costumes and sets, so if you want to watch a drama that doesn't require a time commitment, this is an OK drama.

Um bom drama...
Fox Demon Emperor é um drama muito rápido e gostoso de assistir. Mesmo tendo alguns furos de enredo ao longo da trama, isso não atrapalha o desenvolver da história. Para mim o drama em determinados momentos se tornou repetitivo e maçante, acredito que não é legal assistir todos os episódios de uma so vez, assista aos poucos. O plot final é bacana, mas previsível. E o final da historia acredito que ficou aberto a interpretações do publico.Concluindo, acredito se voce esta de resaca de dramas essa é uma boa sugestão para tentar assistir, por ser um drama rápido (mesmo possuindo 24 episódios de quase 30 min), por ter uma bela fotografia, atuação impecável dos atores e por não possuir uma historia complexa para tentarmos entender (é simples e objetivo, mesmo dando a volta ao mundo em alguns pontos da trama)
