On the eve of reunification of North and South Korea, family members gather for dinner at the residence of the communist party executive named Sung Taek who used to be a spy in South Korea. While the family eats dinner quietly, Sung Taek’s daughter Jong Le carefully brings up a shocking statement of wanting plastic surgery once reunification happens like South Korean women she sees on drama.
