Kyoko Ariga who lives in a small apartment with her mother-in-law Shino, and with her dead husband son Takumi, which he has with his ex-wife, dream of owning their own house. Soon, her college friend Hiroshi Hadano, offers her an apartment on the bargain price. However, after the woman gets the keys to it, she discovers that it already has a tenant in the form of Saki.
