Just a Feel Good Series
Oh, this was unexpectedly good. Usually for miniserieses, I'd have problems with the pacing of the story and how well the script is written. I went into this without any expectations and I was pleasantly surprised. What I like about this the most is how the characters were written, even the second leads. I like that the FL is headstrong and isn't your usual damsel in distress. She knew what she wanted and how to get it. The ML really pissed me off with how he treated her because of the initial misunderstanding. But what I like about him was when he actually figured out he loved her, he was ready to do anything to win her back. He was willing to learn and look stupid. 😅 He is cute though. Speaking of cute, the FL looks so cute. She's too pretty that I find myself saying it too often while watching. I was more mesmerized by her than the ML. 😅
The second leads were written very well too. Although the 2FL is a bit annoying, she still had her pride and decency especially at the end. The 2ML is a green flag through and through that I can't help but feel for him.
Overall, I love how feel good and well written this series is. Just as much as how I loved seeing the best secretary/ wingman in the room.

Boss Lady vs. Mr. Narcissist
I had a lot of fun watching this mini drama. The story follows a woman who loses her memory after an accident and is manipulated by her father and stepmother into marrying the male lead, who wants nothing to do with her because he believes her father is a thief. Everything changes when she suffers another accident, regains her memories, and decides she wants a divorce instead. Suddenly, the once arrogant and narcissistic male lead finds himself terrified of being the one left behind. From there, the drama balances romance, comedy, and revenge surprisingly well while the female lead works to uncover the truth behind her mother's death. The female lead is easily the highlight of the drama. She's intelligent, confident, and knows exactly what she wants. Instead of waiting for someone to save her, she takes control of her own life and goes after the people who wronged her. Watching her outsmart her father and stepmother was incredibly satisfying. Fan Luo Qi was perfectly cast, bringing both elegance and charisma to the role.
The male lead, on the other hand, is impossible to take seriously at first. He's incredibly vain, self-obsessed, and frustrating because of how badly he treats his wife based on a misunderstanding. However, once he realizes the truth and accepts that he genuinely loves her, he completely changes direction. Watching him awkwardly try to win her back, willingly embarrass himself, and learn how to be a better husband was both hilarious and surprisingly charming. His performance carries much of the comedy, and he fully commits to every ridiculous moment.
One of the biggest surprises was how well the supporting cast was written. The second male lead was an absolute green flag, making it impossible not to root for him, while the second female lead, although annoying at times, still maintained her dignity and self-respect by the end. The real scene-stealer, though, was the male lead's secretary. Every time he appeared, he made an already funny scene even better, and his reactions to his boss were priceless.
The romance isn't the drama's strongest point. At times, it feels like the comedy takes priority over building emotional depth, and I wished there had been a clearer distinction between the male lead's guilt and his actual love for the female lead. Still, their chemistry was enjoyable, and the lighter moments between them made the relationship entertaining to watch.
Overall, this is a fun, fast-paced mini drama with a strong female lead, a hilariously narcissistic male lead, lovable supporting characters, and plenty of comedy. It doesn't try to be overly dramatic or complicated, and that's exactly what makes it such an enjoyable watch. It's the perfect choice when you're looking for something lighthearted with just enough romance, mystery, and laughs to keep you entertained.

Fun minidrama with strong female lead & comical male lead
Found this minidrama from Fresh Drama Youtube channel so decided to watch it after briefly reading reviews on MDL.What I liked:
1) Female lead characterisation - I like that Wen Lan's smart & capable. Fan Luo Qi played the role well and she looked beautiful too.
2) The plot - It's centred on Wen Lan's personal and professional life and there is a great balance and execution of this short minidrama. She suffered from amnesia but this trope wasn't dragged (thank gawd). The last five episodes were fun to watch.
3) Visuals - I must say Ma Chen Xi, who played second male lead Shi Cu, is more handsome than the actor who played male lead Xu Kai Xin. The actor who played rival Shi Xun is handsome too.
What I disliked:
1) Mu Bai characterisation - I dislike that he's vain and kept checking out himself. I understand the moments were done to bring out humour but they didn't build the case for audience to root for him in his pursuit of Wen Lan.
2) The romance - Sadly lacklustre and too focused on comic relief. I get it that he realised his mistakes and mistreatment of his wife. However I felt that there was no clear distinction between his guilt for his wrongdoings and his love for Wen Lan. Despite that, the lessons on wooing Wen Lan were hilarious and I do love the wedding scene.
Favourite scene
Episode 3 was so hilarious especially when Wen Lan was drunk. ROFL.

Short Stereotype Drama with quality
I think this is my first review.First, you can watch this drama in full on YT. I really enjoyed this drama because 1, strong female lead who doesn't back down. 2. male lead regrets and trying to win back FL. I've watched plenty of short romance C-dramas, a lot of them are between 3 to 10 minutes, and most of them are cringey in acting.
However, "Love from Divorce" is a very stereotypical plot with evil stepmom, evil step sis, plus annoying cute girl obsessing with ML. lol.
I really like the FL, and was surprised that this is her first work, I would love to see what roles she'll do next. ML was quite suitable at being serious but still be able to be comedic at times.
